Optomistic, lively up front, we sure as hell better score a few because that midfield and defence aren`t likely to stop much

Soumare , really ? It must be in his contract he has to play or he owns the ball and will cry and take it home if he isn`t.

Why on Earth would anyone pick hm, he`s worse than dead weight.

Amazed if he's starting two 16 year olds. Shows how desperate our options are, even if they're very exciting talents.

 

This has statement win or embarrassing loss written all over it. Nothing in between.

Says our last away League win was 96. Cup win was 98, I didn't think Dublin was here yet. Maybe the site is wrong, I can't remember the FA Cup win 

 

FA Cup win was mid 00s, we wore that weird gold kit and he bagged late on

I thought this was what everyone wanted? Yell at the club for not rewarding the youth, yet take the pi55 when we play them. Looking forward to Page making a mistake and everyone piling in on the match thread.

I'm not yelling at him at all. It's fantastic.

 

But it's surely unprecedented? I doubt there's a single club in England that'll be starting two 16 year olds today.

Can we please allow the same tolerance to our academy players for having bad performances as our senior players get?

 

Faes has been majority bad for us for 3 years, Winks has been bad for the most part for over a year and yet you still get fans saying theyre the best we have and need to back them. Let's allow Monga and Page at least one bad game, or 5 or 10 (ideally never) before we pile in on them.

 

It just feels like there's a bunch of fans waiting in the wings to jump on the young players and say 'i told you so' when they dont win every game. Like what happened with Nelson.

I dont think he has much choice? If mavididi has a knock and BEK is off.

 

Concerns me that Page is now the only player for that CAM role. We have to address that. But otherwise im excited to see what they can do

Very worried about the combinations of centre backs and midfield. Even Sheffield Wednesday caused massive problems in the first half with that set up. Perhaps it is forced on the manager players that are off not wanting injuries etc. Hope the youngsters do OK both have great potential.
