So you missed the 1-0 win at the Ricoh on the opening day of 2011/12 under Sven when we were so optimistic and thought that Gelson Fernandes was the new Patrick Vieira? A pity - that was a fun day. Sven was sacked a few months later mind…

Yes missed that one.  Ive missed a couple over the years having moved around for work but i reckon I've seen more than enough to be due a win by now!  😂

I mean it was probably the highlight of 2004-2008. Not sure why you can't have more than one fond memory. There's always going to be some more significant than others

I meant it as a good thing. That we don't forget moments like that just because the more memorable ones come after.

I do love how as a fanbase even though we have had all the memories of the last decade, we still talk about Charlton away in 2005 like we are still one of those clubs without a lot to shout about.

I get your sentiment.....but at the time Charlton were an established PL club, until they got rid of Curbishley.....it was a big deal back then.

Was a great day out though, I was 15, and a last minute fa cup winner to a then premier league side was a great feeling.

I know. Remember it well. The whole season review DVD was built around it 😂

Hopefully Alves on the bench to replace McAteer then.

Surely Alves takes his chance whilst Bobby is still out. Abdul still can’t play 90 mins.

Forgot to bring my ticket to London - how do I go about getting it sorted ahead of the game? Pop into charlton ticket office?

I'd imagine so......do you have the booking number on your phone?....if so should be easy.

Ring City 1st thing in the morning.

They will arrange a duplicate to be picked up at Charlton.

Any game we start Luke Thomas, Vestergaard, Soumare and Ayew together on, we will lose.

Like Sheffield Wednesday for example?

Yes looks very lively in training

I'm always flabbergasted that Soumare continues to get a game whilst doing absolutely **** all to justify his place

I personally wouldn't be expecting to see Bilal or Faes in the team. It'll be an interesting lineup, but one weaker then what we put out against Sheffield Wednesday, which is concerning.

We are so unstable at the minute with so many players leaving/rumours of players going that it'll be hard for Marti to know where he is.

Still going for a 2-1 Charlton win as they are the opposite of us. But it makes me so annoyed to think that.

We will see the same lethargic performance, of rolling the ball side to side, and leaving acres of grass for Charlton to exploit. Charlton will take the lead, as we will likely concede first in every league game this season. We will go in at half time 1-0 down again. We will make changes at half time, again, Monga will come on and grab an equaliser, Daka will come on nutmeg himself three times and miss an open goal, and Charlton will score a 88th minute winner.

Rinse and repeat.

Don't forget the trademark Daka airshot.

He needs a bingo card

Their email says duplicates available at the South Stand ticket office and you need photo ID.

Or spare yourself an afternoon of pain and misery and do something else?
