Just in general regarding the 'one of our own' because he had been in the academy for years.

If he had been a signing he would have got the same treatment the Ipswich fans are giving him at present

Dug myself a bit of a hole here haven't I?lol

Not questioning that we should have sold him for the record, Ipswich paid daft money for a bang average Championship player. We'd have been insane not to take the money - though we have form for that... Luke Thomas anyone? Just think he was one of the few who seemed to give a shit in an otherwise checked-out squad.

I'm clutching at straws I know, but in an world where he wasn't sold he'd have a place in the matchday squad ahead of BDCR at the very least, if not Mavididi on current form. He wasn't exactly a mentality monster but I couldn't point out any examples of him giving up like Stephy did to allow Brittain to make that cross on Tuesday.

Again I'll yell it louder for those at the back - yes we were right to sell, he's a £5 mil player at best.

He had a longer career at Leicester than most ever thought he would have. Besides a purple patch at the start of the Enzo season, he's been pretty below average (as have most of the squad).

I hope he has a successful career wherever he ends up in the future. He doesn't seem like a bad lad. The money offered was far too good to turn down.

Yes, I thought we did better business with Kasey than Cannon! Cannon showed potential under Enzo but wasn't really given a look in during our previous Championship winning season and was then seen by most on here as just another failed attempt at a long term Vardy replacement I guess when he was then sent on that season long loan to Stoke last season (by Cooper?) where he was scoring for fun initially, although I think he was very hot and cold, as well as being injury prone - which might explain his falling off a cliff drop off in form since being at Sheffield United rather than his actual ability that many seemed to criticise on here - even now when I posted a "deleted" post on here about him on Saturday just gone, albeit in the wake of the negativity swirling around the forum after the latest (Blackburn) defeat. Anyway yes, Kasey was a tryer but ultimately dog sh*t and how we got the fee from Ipswich that we did is a .... mystery!

Did you expect much else? I do admire your successful attempt at ragebaiting here though, fair play lol

I’ll go against the grain, I think Kasey is going to be a very good player…. One day. He’s not a great player now but he has some unique skills that I don’t think many have. A little bit of what Andy king had, just knowing where you need to be and having the bottle to actually finish chances when they come.

he’s not quite a winger…. That much is a given. But if he finds himself at a club who use inside forwards, I think he might just become a gem if he can add some consistency to his game

Don't you dare bring Luke Thomas into this. He was in the Euro 2024 sticker book, you know.

Another goal for Kasey who is playing very well for Ipswich after a slow start. Like James Justin the more the nightmare memory of Seagrave fades the better and more confident he gets.
