PSG are basically just Manchester City / Chelsea in a one team famers league.

Probably time to go for Guardiola. It's not just really happening.

Manchester City needs a proper rebuild is the issue.

They spent a fortune at first and whilst they still make massive signings, they aren’t exactly top of the net spend tree anymore (7th in the last 5 years).

They aren’t the same since the likes of De Bruyne, Walker, Rodri, Gundogun, Mahrez, Ederson moved on. Ruben Dias isn’t the same player he was either as he was a monster. He should player every game but doesn’t!

Rodri is still there, played last night, but overall I agree. That group of players that won so much has either moved on or has come to its end. Man City still might win a domestic trophy but they're not at the level they once were.

Some of the players they have bought recently aren't the same level either. Guehi for example, decent Premier League defender but nothing more. Look at Madrid's second goal yesterday, he is like a statue when Vinicius is already anticipating where the cross is going.

We're just not as good as we like to think we are.

The PL is touted as the best league in the world and then you see top teams from Europe and you begin to realise it's all FA and media hype.

Also, it's the European Champions and Real Madrid. Hardly paupers.

However, I would like to see a period of English teams faltering in Europe so that we can (hopefully) get back to the days when the likes of Mahrez, Hazard, David Silva are the best players in the league and not beefy 6 foot tall wingers who seem to spend more time in the gym than on technique and without every team playing 4 centre halves.

I find English football quite miserable at the minute. Even Pep Guardiola favours power over technique these days. It's not entertaining.

Arsenal winning the league with 3 defensive midfielders, 4 centre backs and a mountain up front is boring. Every side taking 2 minutes to set up every single set piece is boring. Every team going to ground like they've been shot so that they can have an opportunity to swing a freekick in is boring. Every team working out how to shut out the opposition instead of working on how they'll score more goals is boring. Every centre half in the country having the most touches is ****ING BORING.

We have won sweet Fanny Adams yet, people seem to be forgetting if Man City win their game in hand and beat us the gap is a mere three points!!

This is a poor Man City side and it looks to me like Arsenal have the bit between their teeth. Worth noting that Man City haven't won anything in 2 years now and they do not have a lot of the big players in their side that won the Treble.

Yes Man City do still have players with the experience on their side but Arsenal do have the experience of being in similar positions before and failing. It looks to me like the players are learning to not get carried away.

I don't expect Arsenal to win all their games and breeze it. I think they will drop points 3/4 times but I think Man City will too.

English and Spanish teams have dominated the CL over the past decade but we've had more teams make the final than any other country. In that period alone we've seen Liverpool (three times), Manchester City (two times), Chelsea and Tottenham all make the final.

I think the PL is overrated worldwide, Sky hype it up, but you can't deny over the past decade it's been represented well (mainly down to Pep and Klopp coming to the Country, granted).

If I had a quid for every time someone had said Pep's time was up and then he went on to win something else, lol..

Coming up to two years and even this year if they do it won't be one of the major ones. They are a noticeably poorer team than 2/3 years ago.

Agree. It's better for the league that this years teams are generally faltering. On the pitch it's as dreary a Premier League season as I've seen in a long time.
