He really helped me after having had surgery 15 years ago. I was unable to stand in L1 as normal so moved me into a comfy leather seat with leg room for the rest of the season. Top bloke.

Jim helped me move seats for myself, brother and late grandad a few years back when the signing section extended into SK1. I sent him an email and he offered to meet us at the ground and we walked around the ground to look at available seats that we could move to. Such a top bloke who cares about the fans. The guy deserves a payrise.

Jim’s been phenomenal to me and a lot of folks I know who make trips over. Always love catching up with him whenever I get the chance.

A great idea for a thread and I really hope he reads it. He should know how well thought of he is.

I’ve only had a few dealings with Jim over the years and only for relatively minor requests / queries. But he’s always helpful and even where he’s not necessarily able to help he is always empathetic. As has been touched on already his customer service is brilliant and if they could replicate Jim’s approach and attitude across the club I’m sure we’d be in a better place as a football club.

Jims always helped me and the family if/when we have had to move seats for any reason. One of the few guys working at the club you know will do all he can.

Definitely seems like someone who has been there for around 20 years who has an excellent long-standing reputation with the customers/supporters.

Struggling to think of others who have been there as long as he has with a similar very positive reputation, but am sure there are a few behind the scenes - particularly, possibly some of the stewards etc.

Helped me store some luggage at the stadium when I was visiting. Was doing an in and out on the train, with luggage for a four week holiday. Lugged it down from the station, had spoken to them ahead of time and made it incredibly easy. Very small thing but massive impact for me.

Never forget when he "understood my grievances" because they'd scrapped the Student Season ticket as I travel in from Nottingham while they were giving out free tickets to DMU students.

Offered me 20% off at the club shop.

Turned up to the ground for the next match and you got 20% off the club shop with the programme.

Cheers Jim.

Missed opportunity for Jim to tell you to "better get DMUsed to it"

Helped me sort a season ticket purchase in the seat next to mine for my daughter, when there was already someone in it.

He remembered my request and oddly the person who sits next to me saw Jim minutes after me and he sorted it within half an hour of me going into see him. I left the stadium after speaking to him and before I got to work he called to tell me it was sorted.

Amazing

Missed opportunity for you to pretend you don't know me in real life and try and make a cheap excuse at my expense while I'm out shopping in ASDA pizza section with the family you mean?
