I don't think there is a single person behind the scenes who gets a good write up on here, but in my opinion, with the dealings I've had with him in, Jim is a good bloke, who will go out of his way to help if he possibly can. He managed to sort my transferring of my wife's season ticket, to a minor, who obviously doesn't have a mobile phone when all other avenues failed. Also in the past helped with my late mother in law who was in a wheelchair on a number of occsions.

Yes people probably get frustrated with him when he is put up as the face of Leicester City at meetings etc, but I'm sure on those occasions his hands are probably tied by the limited actions he can take in those situations.

But all in all, a top bloke in my opinion. So a big shout out to Jim 👍

I thought this post was about to get really dark for a moment lol

He seems like a bloke that has consistently been talked of positively when people deal with him one on one. I think we'll take any positivity on here that we can atm so I'd call this a good post :D

I think this is fair my dealings have always been positive. As an employee there are areas he cannot address and I am sure as a supporter he has his moments of doubt . I know for a fact he has faced some unacceptable behaviors from individuals but gets on with the job. Please remember the mid level staff are the public face sometimes delivering messages and policies dictated from above as with any organization.

I think the people that do that role are generally some of the nicest people you'll meet. Often their failings are caused but the environment they work in, rather than their own lack of compassionate or empathy.

I vaguely knew (through my uncle), Peter Jones, the ex ref who also did that job for a while. He was genuinely the nicest bloke I think I've ever met. As a kid he randomly sent me loads of swag from when he reffed some international matches and when we traveled up to a home game once, he took me in the club shop and bought me a shirt. Obviously, those are things in a personal capacity but I think it shows the mindset of these guys.

One of the very last connections to the traditional culture/way football used to be as a supporter.

Great OP. Shame the poor guy will get sacked if Top, Whelan or Rudkin read this.

Making fans supporters feel welcome and wanted is a sackable offence on Filbert Way

Personally struggled with a few knee problems over the years and Jim has always been helpful in transferring me to a more accessible area when I'm on crutches or what not. Bloke is a gem and can't do enough for anyone.

Nothing else I can add that hasn't been said before about the bloke. Top man.

Should we really be using  Top in any way shape or form now in reference to someone being good.

Surely Top should mean useless weak cvnt. Or spoilt baby brat, I could go on and on but you all get the picture.

Helped me on several occasions, even managed to get my son's ST renewed after he missed the closing date, the year we won the league due to family issues. For that I shall be eternally grateful.

He’s done a fair bit for me over the years, including helping a terminally ill friend out with hospitality tickets. Shame there aren’t more that give a shit as much at our club.

Only if you're lucky enough to have not needed his help.

I don't know how you've come to this but i'd say most fans know who Jim is if they are regular attendees.
