We’ll see im not sure if we don’t lose a midfielder somewhere and the clock is ticking

RowlattsFox Posted 1 September 2025 Posted 1 September 2025 Glad we had the bracket clarification, nearly had a heart attack.
ealingfox Posted 1 September 2025 Posted 1 September 2025 Scored an injury time winner for Pumas yesterday so still got it. Surprised he wants to come back from Mexico so quickly.
AKCJ Posted 1 September 2025 Posted 1 September 2025 I really like this signing. The more I think about it, the better it sounds. Would really love us to test Milwall for Ivanovic. Stolarcyzk Ricardo(c) Okoli Nelson Thomas Soumare James Fatawu Ramsey Mavididi Ivanovic Begovic, Vestergaard, Choudhury, Kristiansen, Winks, Skipp, Monga, Page, Ayew IMO that's a side that can win promotion and it's built with a lot of young, hungry players. The fans are backing Marti because it feels like he wants to deliver exciting football with a team of players that wants to be here and succeed. Granted there are holes in the side and I think Marti will prefer a more attacking fullback on the left but overall that side should be too much for a lot of teams. I must admit, I didn't see us getting more than one player in today and I think depth is really lacking in certain areas. (Only having a potentially injury prone Ramsey and Page in the number 10 for instance) but yeah. Onwards and upwards. 2

Or at least, it should be, I guarantee he squeezes Jordan Ayew in there somewhere with the excuse that one of the new signings isn't ready. Or maybe it's for Mavididi. 1

I think that's still absolutely fine. I would be very surprised if Nelson doesn't get into the first team before Christmas though and I don't mind Mavididi being dropped for now.

Finnegan Posted 1 September 2025 Posted 1 September 2025 Welsh Rambo has gone to Mexico, believe it or not. 1
South Shire Fox Posted 1 September 2025 Posted 1 September 2025 (edited) Think he was quite highly rated a few years ago. If hes anywhere as near good as his brother then spot on Edited 1 September 2025 by South Shire Fox 1 1
Levi Port Posted 1 September 2025 Posted 1 September 2025 Has hardly played any football in 3 years but if we can get him up to speed and playing he will be quality here. Hope there’s a buy option but I doubt it

I mean, there's going to be something wrong with most of the players we sign now, aren't there? We can't afford to pay for known quantities so we have to take some gambles. Just be pleasantly surprised that they're all appearing to be loans, most with decent cheap options and for the most part look like they'll be pretty sellable for profit if they prove themselves. This looks like one of our most sensible windows in a long time if we get it all wrapped up. 3

Being available because you’re not in favour with the club you are at as it didn’t work out, in comparison to not being favour because you can’t stay fit are very different though. I like Ramsey, he fits this style well.
