Signed "We are where we are... The Foxes Trust".

I have a feeling it's going to properly fall apart on Saturday afternoon.

In fairness, the Trust has massively improved thanks to the efforts of the reform the FT guys.

3 years ago they’re never making a statement like this with the old boys club bootlicker lot running the gaff.

Foxes trust posted this on facebook. Most liked comment includes this qoute - "Tbh, I don't really mind if we go down to League 1 again for a season or two - its all part of the rollercoaster - I'm going to just keep trying to enjoy every bit of it"

Come on... seriously? What genuine supporter says shit like this and wants to watch us wallow in League 1? It's the most pathetic, soft, small time thing I think i've ever read

I think there's a lot of Leicester fans with a humiliation fetish to be honest.

It's a mentality of 'we've won the league and fa. Cup so now we just need to get back in our box'. Whilst we can't as a fanbase change the owner or board or players etc, just willingly accepting our pathetic decline is just criminal. Every single fan should be protesting, booing whatever it takes. So long as a many keep accepting poor standards and clapping under performance, the board and owner just keep thinking everything is fine and carry on with no accountability or responsibility. I've said it for ages, some of our fans are complicit in our downfall!

The whole mediocrity 'let's spend time in League One' nonsense is fine if you're Huddersfield. Penalty shoot out win to get to the prem, spend two seasons there and drop down.

We WON the fvcking thing, solidified ourselves as PL regulars, got filthy rich, won the FA Cup and nearly got to the UCL again twice. We were established, we were a mainstay. We seemingly gave up this position through bad management and bad ownership.

It's like a working class man making £50k a year stumbling upon an invention that made him £500m, making bad business decisions and spaffing/losing the lot until he's back on £50k a year. Sure, you came from a moderate background, but fvck me you really shouldn't be back where you were.

I’ve likened us before to that Michael Carroll millionaire

'We are where we are! We were in League One once! Puel out!... wait, who's the manager again?'

Even looking at it in a personal level, you are spending circa £40 a week to not be bothered by results or relegation. No wonder clubs want more of these types in the ground.

Agree with the sentiment but not sure Huddersfield were the best example to use 😉

There were plenty on here who were happy to go down to the championship to rebuild. Not sure what the difference is any relegation could prove fatal in trying to get back up it’s certainly not a given.

They just aren't bothered by football, really. Complain about people booing after defeat and that folded card was taken away.

No club of similar size will have a group with this mentality.

We have heard this too - @Foxes_Trust can you confirm?

I believe in theory it’s correct. However FAB appointments were for three years and there is lack of clarity if it’s the person or the organization they represent. On the FCC the entities are represented and the person changes except for the independents who stood and were selected. The Fan Engagement Network is a bit more vague as to the FAB representatives. If Mr Bason was not representing the Foxes Trust unclear if he can be replaced automatically. I think the Trust would have to seek his removal and replacement and the club need to agree. Not sure that this helps

Here's what the Terms of Reference of the Fan Advisory Board state:

Key Clauses

  • Under Membership (Section 2.1): “one representative from the Foxes Trust” is included among the Supporter Representatives.

  • Under Selection and Replacement of Supporter Representatives (Section 3.1): “The Supporter Representative from the Foxes Trust will be a Foxes Trust board member nominated to join the FAB by the Foxes Trust and approved by the Club.”

If Ian Bason is no longer a Foxes Trust board member, surely he cannot continue on the Fan Advisory Board as the Foxes Trust representative?
