That side actually wasn't too good to go down. Shit defence and an even shitter keeper

This one is shit across most of the pitch so even more likely to go down imo.

Pretty good keeper for this level. Joke of a defence. Some quality in midfield. Good wingers but being nullified by the system and then no striker to put the ball in the net. Add the toxic and weak mentality across the squad and the recipe is there.

I'm genuinely worried, especially with the points deduction. We have zero quality in defence or attack. We have a decent winger in Fatawu a decent loan midfielder in James, and a fine player in Ricardo when he's fit. The rest are worryingly shite. The attitude stinks, the atmosphere is toxic, it really can get worse. Blackburn are a horribly poor team who won at our ground at a canter, if that's not a red flag I don't know what is.

Yes, we can go down quite easily with this squad and a points deduction.

This would be the real reset that we need.

A chance to rebuild and regrow. A chance to get rid if the payday players and shake off some of the plastic fans snd hangers on.

Sheffield Wednesday had 60 interested parties within days of going into admin. Sixty.

Yes but this completely ignores the fact that Chansiri's hand was rather forced by pressure from the authorities and the administration situation.

It therefore does not satisfy the requirement I set that the owners need to be willing to sell. Unless they are, of course. Who knows?

Either way my comments stand.

We did have a successful season last time in the third division. All the relegated clubs from last season are piss poor, it's not just us.

They're not all getting slapped with a pts deduction from the EFL.....

A team that has 3 strikers who have scored 1 goal between them all season. Zero creative midfielders and half the squad dont want to be here.. Yes they absolutley can go down, and will do if it doesnt change

No idea why people are saying we're going to end mid table. Unless we start creating and scoring we're not going to win football matches. The next transfer window is going to be huge.

Its not a question of if its a question of when. We are three months into the season and the majority of the squad have given up, as soon as that points deduction hits its curtains.

Anyone still supportive of this ownership is complicit at this point.

Do you think that these people who support this ownership and the way the club is being run .... Will still be with us in league 1.... I very much doubt it

The transfer window will be good for us if the exit door gets regular use

That would be great but does require other clubs to not notice how crap our players are!

Yes they will be

They’ll be there no matter what, because it’s what they do

Your quote reminds me of a scene in the original movie 'Dawn of the Dead' when 2 of the main characters are discussing why the Zombies still turn up to the shopping mall 🤔

I’m also genuinely worried, but also not at the same time. They deserve it, and if anything it might lead to the clear out that we truly need.

I think this is a formality. High likelihood of a points deduction handed down for 23/24? Will we also fail 24/25? Even without a points deduction we look desperate.

Not seeing much fun that Stephy predicted in the summer. 1 win since August 😂

The future is bleak.
Dragged down by incompetence of the highest order by those in charge.
No lessons are ever learned, one bad decision after another and to compound it they don’t even seem to care, we’re like a once favourite toy that’s now been discarded.
Bad times but at least we have the memories. 🦊
