I went sleep at 1am when Aus were 60-odd for 4 lol lol lol

 

How do England surpass such low expectations?! Did not expect them to be all out themselves by the time we wake up!

Obviously a difficult pitch to bat on but you must be pretty fed up with your teammates as a bowler. Back out there bowling again. 

 

Brook is the only one able to play with confidence, even if its misguided sometimes, another start for him. The rest are mentally done.

Jesus wept, when I bought tickets for days 1 & 2 of this match I did not expect to see a result. Skittle them for 152 and then bat like that? Pathetic.

We're so bad that if we bowled them out for 100 I'd still predict them to be winning after the 1st innings.  Same if we got 500...I'd assume they'd get 600...just how it as atm.

This one will only be two days .

 

Feel for anyone who had tickets for day 3 onwards but guess England fans might already be there?

The bow!ers get plenty of criticism but they have a done a reasonable job and it should be noted how little rest they get.

 

The batting on this tour, by and large, has been horrendous. 2013/14 was bad but this feels worse.

Jokes aside I don’t think it’s that bad?? The grass is a bit long and the combination of the pace just seems to make it too good for batters. At least four of the top order Aussie dismissals were giveaways (strangled down leg/run out). As for England, the opening spell from their quicks was outstanding, and then everyone is just in such bad nick that it was done.

I got tickets for Day 3, and was hoping to see some cricket.

The biggest problem now is how I can stop Mrs. Aus finding out the game is over and still getting a day on the piss in.
