That’s not really true is it, there are a whole host of managers that have made a significant change recently. I was more alluding to the fact that it’s more of the same from a coach that’s been in the camp for the past few failed managers

But they haven't made a change to this group so that's irrelevant. 5 different people have managed this team since Enzo and all the same issues despite different personalities/styles. Not absolving those managers but clearly tells you they are not the main issue.

This group of players is as rotten as the ownership. Bar 1 or 2, they don't need to put any effort in because they've got fat contracts, know they won't be here at the end of those contracts and also probably know they'll be picked up by another club.

One of the worse tactical tweaks I've seen in a long time.

Love the guy! But  he got completely dominated tactically by the opposition manager when he made the three changes at half time and formation change. He didn't know how to respond.

They targeted our left hand side relentlessly and we had no response.

Should have brought on Kristenson at some point for Thomas who was getting annihilated. If we shored up that side of the pitch with say Kristenson (not great but gives he winger another player to work out how to beat) and say Silko Thomas who will provide more protection, it never gets past 3-1.

Also we absolutely needed to bring on all 5 subs during the three instances as the players were knackered.

I have been more loyal to this club than Andy King…over half a century supporting…..but you wouldn’t make me manager for that reason.    Club needs an external appointment, and a rough enough one, as manager NOW.

Logical. It smells of subterfuge, doesn't it?! But what is end game?

Massive fan of King as a player and as a person but we just aren't fit enough and/or motivated enough to maintain the required tempo for a full game and for that a fair amount of the blame lies with him

100% King’s fault! Who sits on a 3-0 lead, you could see if coming. Love the guy and only gonna tarnish his reputation

3 winnable games without a proper manager in and 3 defeats. May as well have kept Cifuentes if you're not appointing anyone

Can’t be too many gaffers in football history who have had to watch 2 red cards, a missed penalty and a capitulation from being 3 up at half time in their first 3 games

Cifuentes dodged a bullet getting fired to avoid having to manage this rabble any longer

King's heart is in the right place but he's a pushover for this group of money grabbing frauds.Need a strong manager if there is such a role in todays world of snowflakes.

Sorry Kingy you're part of the problem not the answer

Posted

If I was him, I'd be on the phone to that fraud of a DoF and tell him that he resign as manager and it's now your problem.

Kingy's subs were awful, but I blame the club for putting him in this position and the choices made previously. 2 weeks without anything is just embarrassing and so novice it's too ridiculous to believe

To be fair to king the players are completely unfit. Granted his subs were shit but what the **** are they doing at Seagrave. Majority blowing out their arse after 60 minutes.

Think he should have changed the full backs but the formation change was the right thing to do, because it was the only remote chance that spineless brittle bunch of players had of seeing a game out.

He’s been totally hung out to dry as we all feared he would.

He's been a coach for under 2 years, I have full sympathy for not being tactically aware. He shouldn't be in this role, he's nowhere near ready for it.

I'm starting to think his coaching is part of the problem at this point tbh

Based on the fact those players were on their arse after 50mins and have been all season you can start with turfing out the S&C department.

A lot are saying how poor our fitness is this season and lack of playing identity/understanding. It was King that was in charge over pre season when alot of the foundations are laid 🤷‍♂️

Players fitness and injury prevention/rehabilitation has been poor for years now

How many appearances did you make and how many trophies did you win?

This is an argument I often have, just because they have played pro it doesn’t mean 1. That they’ll be a decent manager 2. Capable of managing a team/game

Playing and management are completely different and takes years to build your craft

Yep agreed. He wears his heart on his sleeve and has a genuine passion for this football club unlike ou players.

I feel sorry for him that he has to be associated to this squad. He should get out as soon as he can.

Maybe that's a fair criticism (definitely valid) but he probably got told at the last minute that he was in charge of pre season, with no experience or coaches to lean on to sort it. We actually played with some intensity under him as well so not sure it is down to him.

Yet again though, no accountabilty from these players to look at themselves and realise they're not fit enough.
