For those going to the game on 22nd

Why not organise a mass sit in after the FT whistle?

Gather in the seated area above the tunnel where the directors box is and show your anger towards the ownership. (Top won’t be there- we know that)

The added bonus of this being that it’s in view of the TV cameras too.

Personally think it needs to be sooner than that, but nobody will hang around late on a Tuesday night after a thumping to Boro anyway.

I think you’ll struggle to get people to boycott, and 200/300 fans congregated in that small area at FT packs more of a visual punch than 200/300 boycotters dotted around the stadium- half of them out of sight of the TV cameras anyway

It’s easy to get from the Kop around to the prawn sandwich area. I used to be on someone’s ticket there and used to make my way round to L Block as soon as the game had kicked off

Just another suggestion.

All of these suggestions for protests are absolutely wasted on Foxestalk.

Foxestalk is an echo chamber and a bubble of, generally, more impatient and demanding supporters that doesn't reflect the wider audience.

As much as I hate Facebook, I'm not even on Facebook, you want to use mainstream social media like that if you want to generally reach out and encourage discontent amongst most of the folk that attend.

There are a LOT of season ticket holders that just think us falling back down to mid table Championship is just normal and was always inevitable and they aren't really all that mad.

Is that statement still true ? I mean it was 12 months ago. It was still true though less so 6 months ago.

Nearly every person I’ve heard from in the last 24 hours, including some who were Top’s god mentality not so long ago have been highly critical. That’s been the case for most of this season and towards the end of last season . Now that isn’t a huge number, granted and my own personal experience.

However, just trying to understand if it is still the case for others ? Many left the ground yesterday. Some, a small number clapped. However, the vast majority left in the ground were angry and booed/chanted. I don’t think that would’ve been the 24 months ago when we first went down. It feels like a change but like you say, very easy to have an echo chamber in a place like this/friend groups.

I know

But it’s up to those on here to shift that narrative out and away from the FT echo chamber.

The narrative started to change with that protest last season- it was being discussed during games- the commentators picking up on our plight. The problem was the protests just stopped and the momentum lost.

Even if the fanbase is turning, you still can't organise something through FoxesTalk if you want more than a small handful of people to take part.

That's not me attacking the idea or saying you shouldn't bother and I'm not saying you can't or shouldn't discuss it here.

But you need to take it to a wider audience if you want any traction.

When Barry from Bosworth, lifelong season ticket holder, tragically dies age 54 - the whole stadium doesn't start clapping on the 54th minute because they heard about it on FoxesTalk, do they?

I wasn’t questioning that we need to go above and beyond foxestalk to get the message out. My question was around the statement of  a lot of STs see out drop to mid table championship still as normal. And whether that is actually still the case.

Yep.

Moan and the word "gloryfan" gets used. Or "these new generation fans" that tagged on after 2016.

Still. We could literally be in league one and it'll still be " well, we were here before!"

Its unreal.

Honestly it would be much better if 0 fans went into the stadium until the start of the 2nd half.

The protest showing that if the players can only show up for 1 half so can the fans.

This message will hit home more than a sit in or protest outside the stadium.

The old couple in front of me said " win or lose, we'll have good day". Unfortunately, they represent the majority of our fanbase.

I think the reality is, it doesn’t matter to people enough. It’s just ‘football’ to them. It’s routine, it’s not a club like Sheffield Wednesday who rally around and have 90% of the fanbase on the same page. Our fans aren’t passionate enough, that’s the honest truth.

Oh well what can you do !!!!

“We were in league 1 once you know”

We got a free doughnut today and a clapper too so it could be a lot worse  !!

“We could have a new owner but be careful what you wish for”

Wednesday did bugger all for years.
We need to stop making out they were on the picket for seasons.

Yes done great work in the last months.

But it was only Sally in the shop not getting a wage which got their Trust active in getting Chansiri out.

Wednesday fans drank the Chansiri cool-aid for years until results turned
