Why does he sound like a plonker?

I like him. Like Piper he’s both a genuine fan and also provides some genuine insight. That’s a rare combination.

I like them both too.

They are the 2 gems they've unearthed - the rest range from okay to awful

Just comes across a bit slow and lacks a bit of conviction at times.

Like him, he’s better than Fryatt, but prefer Piper.

I really like Matt Heath

This comment won’t have aged well.

He’s been good previously but he was in the KPFC excuse mode.

Really poor performance from him, like the team IMO.

Completely misjudged by RL  last night. Straight after FT, what felt like five minutes on the permutations of qualifying for the next section of the EFL Trophy when no-one cares about that. OPA has talked about the "road to Wembley" in the past. This really is accepting the decline of the club without acknowledging that's what you're doing.

They never mention the finances - which probably feed into  what happens on the pitch - indeed they never provide any insight into the finances other than what the likes of Kieron Maguire tell them. Their coverage of the sale of the club has been woeful. Basically they just keep reporting matches, injuries, signings as though nothing has changed. And they persist in the idea everything will get better soon (international break = chance to polish performance, new signing = more experience). And, Pipes apart, they NEVER question Martin' on his record, his playing style and his insistence on sticking with it.

The game we saw last night was one I have seen dozens of times by the various permutations of our team in the past five years. Defensive frailty, combined with a lack of urgency in front of goal (Riis excepted). Failure to seriously undo a deep block after going behind. Slow, deliberate build-up. Continuation of identical tactics after substitutions. And this isn't going to change because it's precisely what RM does. His record here (goals conceded, win ratio) is on track with what he's achieved in his managerial career thus far.

No real analysis of how we conceded goals last night. Not sure they had access to video footage after the game. Little insight, more chat like fans watching a game. Thought Heath saying Watson was a standout player in the first half was a bit of a stretch. Both our wingers until the substitutions struggled to make any kind of impact. Watson had a lot of the ball but other than a nice back heel to Doyle he didn’t threaten and his shot was another bizarre limp effort that you’d expect to see at an under 10’s match.

They were talking like we'd won the match. Heath sounds like one of the ex-players towing the party line on the official club channels. Banging on about so-called "positives" when the reality is obvious to everyone watching.

Yes totally misjudged last night in terms of great performance the result not being important.

Saying players had played well when they had effectively done **** all

Saying Stevenage were in a great position having qualified with a game to spare and putting pressure on the Walsall game.

They completely misread the vitriol of the fans

We also got the complete and utter usual tosh from the manager

Just watched today’s press conference with RM. I’ve noticed that Owynn and Matt are very good in the studio, but when it comes to interviewing RM directly it’s toned down big time. The questions asked today almost make them sound like in house media. There’s multiple questions that need asking regarding on and off the field matters, even if RM refuses to answer off the field questions at least it puts pressure on them.

I think it stems back to NFP and Stringer. RL know that they tread a fine line to get access.

Absolute waste of space this lot.

For too long now they’ve p*ssy footed around and not held the club/players/staff to account.

Start behaving like reporters and journalists, not complete wimps.

Same with the Mercury.

Different times, a prem club cannot speak to RL. Now no one else cares to speak to us

All local media outlets are partly responsible for where we are.

But then again so are the fans.......

The absolute neglect of the club by King Power is why we are where we are. If you are blaming media outlets and fans you need to ****ing get real.

The only person I listen to is Matt Piper and even he is saying I don’t see how Martin can keep his job after this , he talks sense and he talks like the Leicester fan he is

Owynn is a coward.

Straight after the interview with Rudkin, he uses big words about our demise yet doesn’t do this when interviewing him.

Silence would have been better than that cheap “interview”, if you can even call it that.

I like Owynn, but he needs to go for it now. Russell is the worst performing manager we have ever had, his head is in the clouds and the only real chance we get to convey fan fury is through RL.

Need Owynn to knife him in interviews

The two are related and if you think a media whitewash has no effect on the club and how it's been allowed to destroy itself without criticism at any turn you are naive.

No difference between this and the national level sport washing that has allowed the Man City situation.

The fans consider themselves the club but have done nothing to try and protect it despite multiple years of outright harm.

The two are not the direct cause of the destruction of the football club but a great many of them should be in the dock for aiding and abetting.

IMO

Goal 2 - Thomas outpaced, outfought. Cross into box. OHora should have put this foot through it. It was a terrible.goal to concede.

Piper was fantastic after the game yesterday.

Did he call for Martin to go, in exact terms?

Not explicitly, I don’t think.

But he did say (paraphrasing) “he’s not the man to lead this club”

They are so worried about being shunned by the club, they wont hold them to account!

Even the rudkin interview was shocking.

"I know we dont have long" was said by the reporter to rudkin so many times that an 8 minute interview turned into 4 of which not one question held the club to account, or rudkin ect. Theres really only one guy that kind of says it as it is and thats pipes.

They're in the pockets of the club. KPFC shills who haven't got a backbone to ask a decent question.

Everytime OPA begins his interview its 'what was your assessment of that one?' Useless BTEC Stringer.
