Absolutely appalling coverage. That main presenter was painful to listen to yesterday. He needs to stick to the rugby as he clearly has limited knowledge on the football.

They can't. They are employed by the BBC they have to be impartial due to how the BBC is funded. Any one freelance will say how it is but Owen,.Jack etc. can't say and won't say how they feel or they will lose their jobs.

Impartial ? Surely you have to be allowed to report facts?

It's details though isn't it. They will give out the facts of course but won't have opinion on them facts. They put it to the guests because they can have opinion but as for them they couldn't say they agreed or disagreed with it. 

 

It's mad really but it's all BBC shows, TV,  Radio or podcasts if they are directly employed you cannot have an opinion

I absolutely thought about that Wolves game at half time. At 3-1, felt it might well end up all square. At 3-2 hoped we might cling on for a point. We've been spineless for the best part of 4 seasons if we're honest.

I used to work there. Technically EVERYONE there is freelance apart from management. All independent contractors - I was when I was presenting. The impartiality is intended for politics rather than sport (otherwise they wouldn’t be allowed to say, celebrate a Leicester win)
 

It’ll be more that they’re told by management to toe the line to not upset people at the club. Piper is clearly a proper supporter and that’s why he kicks off. Good on him. Presenters fear for their jobs as there’s always someone else to replace them. 
 

I haven’t worked there since 2011 but rest assured I would have got myself in trouble by this point 😂

Probably the most irate I’ve ever heard Piper. Struggled to keep it in check tonight and makes for a good listen. More or less resigned on air because he can’t stand by and watch the this disgusting team or owner run the club into the ground anymore.

Radio Leicester redeemed itself tonight after the shit show programme following the Birmingham game. Piper’s post match rant was brilliant. King’s post match interview was honest and thankfully he didn’t hold back - to his credit. Begovic oh my word what the fvck was that interview. Fvcking dreadful and shameful but probably sums up the players appalling attitudes.

Begovic’s was a shambles lol classic case of the press officer rolling out the most senior player to face the music.
