If a new manager does come in he needs to reset this team. New expectations and goal is to show some grit, urgency and passion from kick off till final whistle. Must survive relegation. Forget promotion and play offs that’s gone now. Keep it simple for these players in what the need to produce. One game at a time. Time is fast running out for this to happen.

Ironically our last 2 away games are Portsmouth and Blackburn (last game) I know a lot can change by then, but can you honestly see us  having the mental strength to go and beat these if relegation is pending on it?

Last season felt like another 05-08 period was on the horizon and here we are.

 

Said it many times, it’s years of mismanagement coming to the fore.

 

We have a couple of bright sparks in this squad, but it is so badly assembled. We lack a striker, we lack a left-back, we lack depth in midfield, we lack physicality and we lack leadership. 
 

And we appointed a bang average manager to lead the charge.

 

I hope I’m wrong, but if we’re not careful, we could very easily turn into the Stoke City of 2018-2025.
