He does bring him on to play on the wing at times but tend to agree. I'd much rather Page on the bench over Hamza though, that one has irked me.

I think we’ve probably seen the end of Page having any meaningful game time now.
 

Not that I necessarily disagree with him playing less but I’m absolutely not having Choudhury being ahead of him. The guy is an idiot.

Just think of the loanees not getting minutes as insurance players.  They're here in case we get injuries and need the players.  You don't bemoan not getting into a car crash because you paid a years insurance.

Why not? Loan your highest wage earner to a bunch of mugs then get your team in the playoffs and the FA Cup semifinals.

Only positive of his signing is we’ve now had a close up look and won’t be blindly offering him a 4yr contract when he’s out of contract in the summer. Hopefully!

A player we dont want to use is now blocking the pathway for a player a lot of us like, who has done ok and we should really develop. And we are probably paying an eye watering loan fee for this guy. Gotta love that experience.

 

I hope he watch the Southampton game last night and realises what he is missing out on.

We were already a car crash when he signed. We needed players to step straight into the first team to improve the team not  players who just sit on the bench and make no difference. 4  signings in January with pretty much zero impact. 2 of them a complete waste of money, another marginal either way and the other possibly a positive. At least none were signed on long term contracts.

Who was responsible for bringing him in. We messed around getting a manager in during January I'm sure Rowett would not have wanted him nor Richards, it was a panic loan as were nearly all the others brought in at the last minute

 Would rather have persevered with Louis Page.

Presumably Glover “found him” with his extensive scouting network (based entirely at St Mary’s) and Dudkin did the business.

It really is frightening that there are people within our club that are being paid money to recruit dross like this, and continue to get away with it. Another complete waste of money, along with stunting the growth of the academy lads.
