With the helmets, I don't think they can hear them. One has crashed and put debris on the track and one came close to a competitor, but apparently they were consulted and don't seem bothered. It 's just distracting for the TV viewer.

 

On another topic, some of the crowds at some of the events have seemed a bit thin, but I'm only going on what I can see on TV. It feels a bit surprising that the pull of the Olympics isn't getting big crowds whatever the event is.

Very much had a chance but the hype the media has put on them the last few days has been ridiculous.

 

The 3 teams that were ahead of them going into this final round have far more experience at this level

Caveat to that is I believe the British pair are ranked number 1 in the Ice Dance part of the event, which is what they’ve just fvcked up on

Not sure it’s the ideal sport for fat lasses what with trying to defy gravity and all that.

 

Edit - To be fair that many are falling over someone just sliding down is going to come quite high up.
