The Foxes Trust is running a short survey to understand supporter views on the Club’s Fan Engagement Framework. We are looking to understand predominantly three things:

  1. Levels of awareness about the Fan Engagement Framework
  2. Effectiveness of the current Fan Engagement Framework
  3. General supporter sentiment on Fan Engagement currently

This is a short and anonymous survey. Depending on your level of awareness the survey is either eight or seventeen questions long so is designed to be completed quickly (in under five minutes).

We will be sharing the results from this survey in-full both publicly via our website and social media channels and directly with the Club (but they will not have visibility on who has taken part).

Please share your view by taking the survey here

Completed.

Slightly related topic, can you tell us the plans for the FAB representation of the Trust now that Bason is gone? Is the view still that it is better to ‘have a seat at the table’?

Yes, Ian Bason is not able to continue as the Trust FAB rep under the Terms of Reference of the Fan Engagement Framework due to no longer being a Trust board member so we have put forward a new representative in his place. We hope to be able to share more on who that is shortly (they have to be approved by the Club under the current Terms of Reference).

Te question as to what the trust should do about the fef  does not offer the option of continuing based on change.

We're trying to keep the survey as binary as possible for now as a short pulse survey. We'll deduce the desire for change to the existing FEF from responses to the other questions but in it's current format today we want to know if fans are supportive of the Trust playing a role or not (there is the option to say no strong opinion either way on this question).

The club is controlling and avoids two way communication. The current FEF is an echo chamber.

The idea of the survey is get each fans individual views, not to listen to the Foxestalk echo chamber

Done it.

The "one word" question will produce interesting results.

I opted for "toxic".

Had to think hard ended up with ‘fractious’

Done!

Q11 will be interesting to see the responses of. It will also be interesting to see if the club approve the new FAB representative. They have no reason not to, but that doesnt mean much haha.

Have you got a number of completed surveys you are aiming for?

We had originally expected that we would gather a few hundred responses across the couple of weeks we were planning to leave this open given it is just a short pulse survey and not our more comprehensive End of Season Survey.

That said, within just 24 hours, we are about to pass the 400 responses mark so it would be great if we can keep seeing the participation numbers climb and in the range of 500-1,000 responses.

We're not too far off 900 responses now. We might need a bigger target!
