Completely irresponsible by the club the way they have managed it these last 5 years. I understand and appreciate ambition but it has been careless. 
 

A lot wanting Rodgers sacked a lot earlier than what we did, did we hold fire due to PSR then? It’s cost us more than what it would have being in this position now if we’d of just acted when we needed too

Methven is an old Etonian who inherited his wealth and has failed at multiple clubs. Hated at Sunderland and Charlton... the guy's an absolute chancer.

Don’t want Methven anywhere near this club, he’s far from being an angel himself and made a tit out of himself repeatedly on that Sunderland doc. But no doubting he’s well across how much of a farce it is here too, fair play to him for saying it how it is.

Emery was available at the time. Imagine he'd been given the decision making power Rodgers had.

Rodgers should of never been allowed to rip apart what was already a well organised model but we definitely put trust in the wrong man to do so 

 

Rodgers was correct at the time that it needed a refresh, unfortunately with us already spending way beyond our limits (likely to appease him), the quickest and cheapest option was Rodgers himself

Think there's an element of Methven using this situation to rehabilitate his reputation here, drawing parallels with Sunderland and taking advantage of their current position to act like he saved them.

I'm not a fan of reality TV myself at all but Sunderland till I die is very eye opening, Jack Rodwells attitude alone makes it worth watching.

We don't want him anywhere near the club but that doesn't mean that he isn't right about the mess we are in. He's absolutely spot on with the criticisms of the club but yes he is a chancer. He probably knows so much about the club as he is a vulture waiting to see the next big club likely to die so that he can form a consortium to nick it, strip it and flip it.

if I’m summarising correctly:

 

KP are completely ****ed (we knew this)

If we go down we are ****ed

If we stay in the Champ, we need to dramatically change our financials (no “we promote next season” Top you ****ing ostrich)

If we go down and don’t immediately return, we are all starting a phoenix club
