Reckon I might try to pick up a couple of season tickets for next year. Not sure I'll have enough "points" though.

How many points do you have? I think at the end of last season only 21 were needed. All people that had that many points got season tickets so you would not be competing against them, as they will either renew or cancel. (The previous season about 52 or 52 were needed but that was when we had just been promoted back to the PL). There will be a massive drop off this time. The renewal rate last season was only 89%, previous seasons it was in the high 90s.

I lost access to my email which my old leicester account was linked to resulting in a total loss of access and the ticket office was unable to help me retrieve the years of points so this season ive been back to square one with 14 home points and 9 away points - reckon this will be enough this season

Quite possibly this year. Only the home points are considered towards an application though. Depending on your plans if you are able to make a couple more games that may make it more likely.

Well I’ve purchased every ticket for rest of the season so it’s not gonna change - shame that at the start of the season I was contracted to work Tuesday evenings so I missed a few - Tbf it’s not like tickets will be hard to come by

Why would you get one ?  If you go to see friends meet them in the pub or a local park or go bowling or to the cinema or for a nice meal out and give any money saved to the homeless or another more worthy cause. You'll be happier and doing more good with your time and money

I emailed the club to cancel my season tickets at 0900 this morning and within an hour I've had the direct debit confirmation that they have been cancelled. The most efficient thing the ticket office has ever done in my interactions with them !

Ive got used to the digital tickets , and im 55!

The searches just labels us all as thugs and probably epitomises everything wrong with football in general.

Ive got no problems being searched at football.  You expect it at concerts/events to hopefully prevent nutters (the odd one granted) going on a rampage with a knife or blowing up a load of people.  This is no different and nothing to do with how the club is being run.

At sheff weds yesterday there were a number of bins lined up outside the ground labelled drugs, knives, alcohol etc.  I would hazard a guess that if these items hadn't previously been found or seized from people there wouldn't be specific bins for them.

I did think the general vibe to get in at Hillsborough was a lot more welcoming there than our ground plus others.

I found the Wednesday fans themselves and the staff very polite and hospitable - got my hand shook and thanked by an old Wednesday fan for how we received them at the start of the season at the kp

I have a big problem with the searches and to be honest it comes down to one thing - consistency.

It drives me up the wall that we're demonised as home fans by our own club but I can look past it, if it's applied consistently.

Nutters going on a rampage is only an acceptable example if they're searching everyone, but they're not, and that's my big issue. One steward said he is told to search every five people, though I've watched as I've been walking round to the kop and that is not applied. West stand I watched one steward search everyone.

So what is it? What is the actual approach they're taking to protect people from the nutters?

If you want to search people make no exceptions, search everyone and then you can say it's to 'stop nutters rampaging'. Otherwise at the minute you have this mish mash approach of one area doing everyone, one area claiming to do every five people and it lacking in any sort of sense or actual reassuring safety.

You make a fair point that it should be everyone.  I can't really argue with that and i do think it should be everyone.....at football and other events where there are large crowds.

Unfortunately  we are going to.lose a generation  of fans who are going to lose interest in this cesspool of a club

So who has decided they are NOT renewing?

My son and me. Can't justify the 270 mile round trip anymore. Saddens me but they will always be my club and I'm sure that I'll still go to the odd match depending on ticket prices. Swansea could be our last match as STH's :(

Sad times.

Very tough if your travelling miles, I struggle from Thurnby let alone 270 miles away.
