Like I have said before we will be back to our (true support) 22-23k attendance,

Can you imagine when the camera's pan across that pre game.

Will be like the trailer for a new walking dead.

I’ve supported this club for many years through thick and thin — from the low points of administration and League One to the ups and downs of promotions and relegations, the heartbreaks and the good times alike. My lad and I will be renewing our season tickets because we believe in sticking by the team, no matter what.
What some fans might not realise is that if you give up your season ticket, it can be really hard to get it back later — especially when memberships and new sales take up so many seats.
I know it’s been tough in recent seasons, but I genuinely believe things will turn around. Even if the worst were to happen and we faced another relegation, that could lead to probable Aministration with major changes at the club — though I’d rather we stay up and rebuild the right way. At the end of the day, the choice is yours, and everyone has to decide what’s right for them, but I’ll be keeping the faith even if some of the players haven’t !

I think this is why a lot of people do renew, but it won't be hard in future.

I was one of the 7,000 at Filbert Street during the Pleat era, that was a far less filled stadium

I remember those days, and before.

It’s the one thing that’s keeping me from walking away. Although part of me thinks if I walk away this time I will never really come back.

It’s not just the City though it’s top

level Football in general, I couldn’t give a toss about England this summer, I rarely watch any on TV. I get more enjoyment watching non league.

I miss more than I go to these days but I don’t actually miss it. I last gave up

my season ticket under Craig Levein, it was a rotating door of players every season and I just had no interest. I went to the odd game for year’s and eventually got it back during the First PL Great Escape season (Glory hunting bar steward that I am!)

I actually feel less connected to the club and team than I did under Levein. That said I will probably renew as when I do make the effort I see a couple of mates and I don’t miss the DD payment coming out of my bank. Awful reasons to have a season ticket, but there you go.

I’m already booking concerts etc on Saturday evenings  for the start of next season. I really don’t care if I

miss a few games.

I've had my hand forced on renewing or not which is sort of good for me because I had a very high number of points and that would've created a bit of a dilemma, but I do think at this point I'd have had to just bite the bullet and not renew because like I say, I don't think it will be that hard to get back involved again. They're practically giving them away for some of the run in.

I've never felt as low about the club as I do now. I think even for the points I did have I'd probably have had to give it up after the last couple of years. I definitely didn't feel like this in 2008 but then again I wasn't paying for my own at that point. I'd likely have renewed. I didn't feel that back then for all the club wasn't in a good place that it was actively antagonising the fans. Just read the Sheffield Wednesday away thread. I just cannot give that lot any money.

Any new grounds in League One I'd just home end it. Not normally been a problem.

If we do go down it will be interesting to see what they try to sell as category A games. They're all category Z in my eyes.

They'll probably push Sheff Wed, Bolton and maybe Peterborough as they're fairly local (albeit tinpot).

Seems pretty clear to me that if you want to opt out of auto renew then you have until the 29th April.

Yeah, but if you’re already on the DD  you don’t need to opt in, which was how the OP sounded.

Obviously if you want to opt out that’s standard.

Same mentality of those too frightened to leave a job they hate, then at 65 get a carriage clock and a card signed half heartedly by 8 colleagues and an HR nobody on behalf of the directors.

What were the prices last time we were in League One, anyone remember?

£295 in the kop i believe

So if you were to add 69% inflation (cpi) you are looking £487.....

So if anything they are too cheap

I might delete this just incase the club realise and whack the price up.

I’ve found the announcement for 09/10 confirming a freeze from the previous season in prices so £275 was the early bird rate with increasing prices on certain dates

Leicester City today announced a freeze on season ticket prices for 2009/10 ... and unveiled a new package of benefits to attract more families, teenagers and children to the Walkers Stadium.

Irrespective of football in either League One or the Championship, City chairman Milan Mandaric has pledged to keep the price of watching football the same at this season's rates.

As part of the club's commitment to a special supporter-focussed 125th anniversary, City also outlined a series of creative packages designed to deliver affordable family football at the Walkers Stadium.

Adult season ticket prices start from £275, which equates to less than £12 per match, with prices for a new category of under 18 season ticket slashed to just £125.

Chairman Milan Mandaric said: "We have enjoyed marvellous support and this is our way of saying thank you to our loyal fans.

"Our season ticket prices continue to compare very favourably with other clubs of similar stature and size.

"Next season is going to be very special as it is the club's 125th anniversary. We are determined that the whole Leicester family is able to enjoy that.

"We have taken the decision that, irrespective of which division we are competing, prices will not increase for our existing season ticket holders.

"Indeed, in the case of some of our younger supporters, we have introduced categories of season ticket which make it cheaper for some age groups and for families next season.

"We want to encourage more family members to support the Club together and we will happily reward this with price incentives.

"Our Direct Debit facility has also been extended, offering supporters the opportunity to spread the cost of their Season Tickets over up to 12 months.

"We are doing everything possible to ensure that being a season ticket holder here is as affordable as possible."

The under 16 season ticket has now been expanded to under 18s at a special price of £125 for the season - to commemorate the club's 125th anniversary. This represents a substantial reduction on existing under 16 season ticket prices, which ranged from £130-£170.

New adult and child season ticket packages are also being unveiled for the first time to help encourage generations of City fans - with prices starting from £270 for an adult and child sitting together.

The Club also hopes to engage the local Student population, with a series of initiatives planned for next season.

City's 11,500 season ticket holders have until March 15 to reserve their seat and renew at existing prices.

After this date prices will increase by five per cent up to April 30. There is an additional 10 per cent increase after this date.

The Sports Bar at the stadium will also become a season ticket holders only facility and an upgrading of facilities and services are planned for Family Club members.

Anyone renewing because they think it will be hard to get it back needs to have a serious word with themselves.

This gatekeeping is ridiculous and it will not be hard to get another one for years to come, probably ever.

I do wonder if we couldn't simplify pricing a lot more, we seem to have so many different price brackets based on where you sit it's crazy and some areas are way above reasonable, especially for League 1.

For adult prices, maybe just have a premium price for the most central blocks, then a standard price for all other areas and a family block price.  Make the standard ST price reasonable like £450.

Then single priced standard area tickets for none ST, which could be tiered like they are now for different categories of games.
