I’m renewing, but I want to move seats , so been trying to ring the the football club and they keep terminating the call , what a shit show

I’m renewing, I must actually go to about 50% of the games if I walk away I think I would actually never come back. It would be over.

I enjoy watching Coalville Town and the Tigers so much more these days but I’ve been going down there for 50 years and I’ve hope (god knows where from!) that we will somehow get through this.
Half the time I can’t even get myself down there when the ticket is paid for, I just can’t see myself buying match tickets every few weeks.

I know this is half arsed reasoning that makes absolutely no sense but it’s the way I feel.

That's actually a powerful argument.   It's not half arsed reasoning.

As many people have said before, once you give it up - you find other things to do, and you never come back.

You never experience the sh*t again, but you also never live the great moments ever again either.    Ultimately, it's a personal choice.

In fairness all they’d have to do is pay DD and cancel it after relegation is confirmed. You’d lose that months payment perhaps, but it’s only £40 ish

First payment isn't until 1st June, so wouldn't even lose £40. If we get relegated just cancel the DD before the 1st June & shouldn't lose any money.

Can anyone answer this question for me please.

If I do renew I will want to move & sit with friends & this will involve moving to a more expensive seat. In this case do I have to pay the new season ticket holders price for that section or the lower renewal price? Obviously I will have already paid the renewal price for my existing seat.

I have emailed the ticket office about this but unsurprisingly have not yet received a reply.

The best thing to do is email the club telling them you want to cancel. That way you don’t get charged for the missed direct debit and you don’t have a black mark against your name when/if you want to get a season ticket again.

I'm renewing.im not being forced out of my club by the incompetence of Kingpower and its piss poor team . Owners/players come and go

Hopefully the next won't be as useless.

Come on you blues!

Yea I get that, but £40 the club shouldn’t have!

My dad has cancelled his season ticket. I’ve kept mine  and my lads but my dad has had enough. It’s a sad moment really, it’s been our thing for many years and whilst my lad has started going as he’s become old enough it won’t be the same. This is all on the club, on Top and Rudkin. Their prolonged terrible mismanagement, the prolonged lack of respect shown to the fans, the terrible, joyless football by overpaid players not putting in the effort, the erosion of the togetherness that we had when Vichai was alive, the loss of fan hope and ultimately the ending of our family tradition. All things must pass I know but what a sad way to end it. 😔

Can someone who understands the direct debit scheme better than me please explain the apparent difference in dates between the following. The website says the first payment for the 2026/27 season is 1 June and the deadline for opting out or making changes to your automatic renewal by Direct Debit is 5pm on Monday 20 April, but the T&Cs for the 25/26 season ticket says "Supporters who do not wish to retain and/or renew their 2025/2026 Season Ticket for the 2026/2027 season via the Direct Debit Scheme will be required to inform the Club at least sixteen (16) days before
the first payment date for the 2026/2027 Season renewal date, which is determined each season by the Club and which shall be notified to supporters on the official Club website." Yes, an automatic renewal order was taken on 25 March, but what is the club's actual deadline to cancel the season ticket if you decide to?

Reading the middle 2 lines, "I'm renewing" makes absolutely no sense to be fair lol

Understandable though if you've been going down for 50 years, severing that tie completely isn't an easy choice after so long.

Surely people wound have learnt lessons from the clubs approach last year.

Requesting people to sign up early without knowing what league and what manager will be leading us forward next year...

Plenty happy with being continually mugged off though, as seen in this thread.

They will continue to shit on people as a result

They've no idea of customer service and are in for a very rude awakening

You shouldn't call Rudkin a cvnt to them, he is still sort of their  Boss!!🤭

This is actually a really big thing and I'm sure it's just floated over most of the sheeps heads.

Have other clubs said much about next seasons ST's yet I wonder?

My head is on mars the amount of people who are just being walked over by the club and they will just keep renewing no mater what or how bad the club is being ran . People are completely subservient to the club it's genuinely unhealthy for them.

There's quite a few from having a quick look online. The first three pages on google has the following from the Prem & Championship.

Burnley,  Leeds, Derby, Sheff U, Swansea, Newcastle, Man U, Spurs, M'boro, Millwall, Sunderland, Arsenal, Norwich, Bristol C.

Suprised at Leeds they are in a relegation battle like us( obviously different leagues!)

Millwall and MBoro too but they could be promoted to the Premier league so suprised they've not waited.

All the others gave little to play for so understandable?
