I opted out of auto renewal and Jim told me my ST will be held in reserve until 5pm on 20th April to manually renew otherwise it will naturally lapse.

I emailed the club on Saturday to ask when was the last day I could advise the club that I wished to cancel the renewal of my ST.  (I pay by DD so it had autorenewed). His response is as follows:

Thank you for your email. You have until 29 April to decide whether you want to cancel your season ticket or carry on.

Doesn't surprise me at all and just provides more evidence that literally no-one at the club knows what they're doing. Makes no difference to me though as I won't be renewing in any case, either on 20th or 29th!

I know around 10 season ticket holders.

Only 2 are renewing for next season.

I’m guessing they’ll have some form of offer on, however I’m going to guess the attendances next season will be 18,000ish. Chances are you are getting a match day ticket if you really want one.

I’m not sure it’s worth having a season ticket.

gonna end up keeping mine more for the away tickets than anything at this point. I end up resenting every weekend I travel to Leicester to watch, but there's a decent number of Lancashire and yorkshire teams in league one that I can get to fairly easily

I know on the whole everyone prefers away games to home games but I feel we play (marginally) better away from home, the away ends give better atmosphere than home games easily (i.e derby and stoke) but that's the only incentive for keeping a ST and even then the system is getting reformed hopefully in a 27/28

this is it, I enjoy our away ends, the home ends are usually a lot sat in silence, or moaning about those standing and singing (I've had more than one occasion this season someone buying a single ticket in the safe standing section around me then moaning that people are stood up, ****ing room temperature IQs on display there), and having the season ticket rather than hope it gets to general sale is really the last remaining justification

and i imagine match day prices will be cheap if 18k attendances, if we get a grip next season play the youth and play like they care, buying a ticket every couple of games would be far more attractive than locking in £400-£500 now committing to a complete unknown of what the next few months will bring

As an ST holder of  approx 30+ years i was going to email the club regarding my decision not to renew due to the way the club is ran and the disengangement between the hierachy and the fans but thought WTf its not like anyone will give a feck or take any notice of the influx of non renewals

Apparently they want to talk and help you with anything

Before you go ahead, we’d love the chance to see if there's anything we can do to help. Whether it’s a question, a concern, or just something you want to talk through, feel free to get in touch – we’re here to support you however we can.

If you do still wish to cancel, just email [email protected] with the following details for each supporter:

Subject: 26/27 Season Ticket Cancellation
Full Name
Full Address
Date of Birth
Supporter Number

If any supporter is aged 18 or over, the request will need to come from their own email account, including the same details.

Whatever you decide, thank you for your support – now and over the years. And if it’s not the right time this season, we hope to welcome you back when it is. You’ll always be part of the Leicester City family.

Renewed only for away games, as lots of new grounds next season most likely. The home games are draining to attend as many others have said, but would like to still make a lot of the away games

Make sure you set aside a good 2-hours then mate. That's how long I was on hold on Friday.

After just two years of having a ST made the very hard choice of canceling my ST,always wanted one but soon as have one the football has been so so poor, and my hatred for KP has grown  with each passing season, Im a fan who loves to get behind the team and back them vocally, but nowadays I have to force myself to get back behind the team,I think because I have a strong hatred for the team/players that represent us. As of next season I will watch from a far ,still retain interest in us,but I refuse to step foot in the stadium until KP sell up.

Yeah sadly they won’t go care one iota.

If i didn’t have a passionate 7 year old and the want to go away games with him, I’d be binning it off.

Yep I know which fully justifies my decision Bert.

Sad day but enough enough.

Come say Bye after we applaud them away after they do their lap of condolence  for relegation after the Millwall  game👍🏾

Would love to mate…. I’m opposite side of the ground now!

I have renewed but spent a lot of time thinking about it. It won’t be long before I’m old enough to get a discount. Have a parking space as well haven’t even been sent an option on that seems pretty inefficient but can manage without that luxury

Cancelled after 45 years, and after the supposed deadline to prevent auto-renewal, with no issue.

Gave the ticket office my reason: 'Top and Rudkin have destroyed the club and my 60+ year love for it. Shame on them both'. Funnily enough, that wasn't mentioned in the ticket office's email to me.
