why would the Lincoln manger who has just got them promoted even bat an eye at us ?

Because we have supporters ,like our hierarchy, who still think we are way above where we are right now.

Listened to Gus Poyet say he would take on a League 1 team if the project was right, on the managers podcast. IMO he would be a very good appointment.

It's a well known name though, like RVN. Look how that turned out.

Outside of Betis he has a very good record with his teams.

Also has won league one with Brighton. Unlike another big name, RVN.

Skubala isn’t leaving Lincoln for us. Never in a million years. Hes doing great there, no matter how “big” we are he isn’t coming to this basket case of a club.

Challinor or Wilshere might though.

There's a building company local to Leicester called Skubala. Is there a link? Just wondering as it's a pretty unusual name.

He turned us down earlier in the year...

Rowett made us harder to beat with underlying numbers (xG vs. xG against) showing we should've actually picked up more points than we did.

He's certainly more experienced and qualified to take us back up than Martin, Solskjaer, Ferguson, Fuchs, most on the lists posted on here. I mean Jesus we've just seen Wellens through his side under a bus (who he recruited lets not forget) but people on here want him recruited because of "honesty" and he used to play for us. Most on here despised him when he was here! Blame Wellens literally became a meme.

I'm not Rowett's biggest fan but we have continuously recruited downwards since Enzo.

I’m pretty sure every manager who rejects us, or doesn’t come here, is dubbed a Forest fan 😂

Was he offered it?

He fancied his chances better with Lincoln than with us...

And he’s a Leicester fan, or at least was. Someone I work with dated his brother years ago.

he’d be right, all he would do is ruin his career here!

It’s not the weirdest thing to happen is it? And he is somewhat connected to us

Was told by a relatively reliable source that we literally couldn't afford the compensation that Lincoln were after.

Just seen that it’s rumoured that Rowett will have talks this week. Not saying those talks will go anywhere but why do the talks have to be this week ? Why were they not held post Hull ? Or the week after Millwall ? Why are we waiting until the end of the season, what changes ?

Oh, maybe Aiyawatt wants to think about it. Firstly the piece of shit shouldnt do that as he will get a migraine. Secondly, isn’t that why you hire execs ? Two guys, to tell you their thoughts based on expertise ? So you spoke to Rowett Jon, what did you and the other ***** I hired think ? Well the ***** isn’t happy he doesn’t play tippy tap but Mrs Rudkin absolutely loved the ride - ok, onto the next.

That’s the problem this club has and will always have. Blind leading the blind. A bottle top decision making process.

it will be weeks before they actually land on a realistic target. Months before they hire him. In the meantime, a scatter gun, agent led recruitment process of assorted shit brains for a pay day. Fast forward 12 months, 3-0 down to Cambridge, oh how we have fallen, football is a bitch.
