I'd rather watch you do that than get Kevin Muscat.

Got worse when he came back here to Aus. Played under and coached around Ange for a long time and learnt a lot, and isn’t a bad manager at all. Has made a career of picking up where Ange left off.But he’s the dirtiest, most aggressive tosser of a human I’ve seen. He was a horrible horrible player who went out with intent to hurt.

Short story, when I moved out here to Aus, the A-league was just starting Melbourne Victory were the only team in town, Muscat was captain. Dad is a Wolves fan, and hated from his time there. Refused to support a team with that thug in it. Shortly after the second Melbourne team started, got our STH for the new team, then proceeded to watch Muscat be destroy promising young players career.

I just want a manager with a clear football identity, style and tactics. That we never got with Cooper, Marti and Rowett. The last person with that was Enzo and he was hugely influential and won us the league. Now i dont want that style ever again but there is plenty more out there and there is plenty of managers or younger managers that will drop a league for a season to implement this.

He'd probably be watching more games from the stands than in the dugout due to being suspended..

Does he manage like he played?

I wish Alan Nixon would shut the fvck up. A genuinely terrible journalist that gets 99% of stuff wrong about us, and has done for a while.

Why are all the articles/links/rumours right now all from him? Have we been relegated into the shit tier of journalists too?

What’s the rumour today? As people say he’s got a few big things right with us over the last couple of years.

IF true, then player sales of the morons that got us here will help as well. I know some may be there to service debts, but we need to get players in early.

Why not top goal scorer in the EFL from Orient? Young and for him a step up.

Just watched the Wellens interview. Damn we need a bit of that!

But wasn't Rowett doing that?

He continually said that they trained and spoke about doing things differently,  then when they walk over the line they don't....

Wellens started by saying how he loved working with new owners then laid into players and some fans..because the wasn't always supportive  (something along those lines anyway 😉

Heavily debated on talksport yesterday evening 🤪

So Rowett is staying because surely you wouldn’t be stupid enough to buy a load of players who don’t fit the new managers style of play and then end up having them sitting around on large contracts…

Unless we're finally going down the route of letting the Director of Football determine the style of play rather than changing it with every manager...

There’s part of me that thinks when I manager goes in that hard then he probably won’t be in a job come Tuesday…

Yes and he’s got 1000 things wrong.

From memory he got Edouard and Ayew right due to a credible palace link - he’s absolutely terrible for all things LCFC. The bloke is just annoying

Agree , it was all a bit wierd.

But good , needed saying,  feel like Rowett was doing the same but a nicer way.

League 2 players should be playing for next seasons contract.

Ours play for 5 6 or 7 years 🤣

Grim. A failing of different FA's/FIFA that he's still allowed to be involved in football

If we’ve actually got money to go after a manager then you go for someone who is a rebuild specialist and someone with a track record at that level. Cannot do any harm in trying to convince Mark Robins even if he pies us

I am unsure if what michael duff and richie wellens are doing is covering for their own deficiencies as coaches for underperforming this season. Bold move on the last day of the season when all is said and done to slag off the clubs and playing staff to save face for their next job. Not saying they're incorrect, but they are red flags for me.

It's a good interview from Wellens, but ultimately he was involved in signing those players and has been managing/playing them all season.
