For me it’s:

Ambitious/Big Name

Patrick Vieira

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer

Will Still

Lee Carsley

Unpopular “style” pick

Russell Martin

Ruben Selles

Wilfried Nancy

Sensible

Dave Challinor

Nigel Pearson

Tony Mowbray

Left Field

Jimmy Thelin - ex Aberdeen

Andreas Engelmark  - Sirius

Albert Sanchez - Dunkerque, former Barca B

My absolute, full send, #1 priority, cannot miss this opportunity player signing this summer is Enzo Bardeli on a free transfer from Dunkerque. If Sanchez gets on well with him and could bring him too, i'd take him.

Left field:

Ben Wilkinson

Danny Walker

Not suitable?:

Wellens

No Skubala, or even Paul Warne, maybe on the 'Might' category???

Skubala wouldn't come here and isn't available. We wont be paying for a new manager

Have they officially announced that Rowett won't be in charge? Surely they can do that as soon as the seasons finished.

Have you learnt nothing, there will be 3 months of limbo first.

I can’t get the thinking with Darren Ferguson if it is to be him.

Cheap. I'd want to think it's bullshit but sacked by QPR, sacked by Oxford, to sacked by Peterborough fits the trajectory unfortunately.

Yeah I guess it’s just a money thing as usual.

I think you are probably right here.

Although part of me wonders if by virtually doubling his wages and us 'technically' being a bigger club, whether that could be enough to sway him. He likely feels that he on a good thing at Lincoln though and he will soon get better offers than us

Wasting my time I know but I’ve had a look at coaches with a background in the youth set up which hopefully is what we using more.

Daniel Bauer

Eirik Horneland

Marcel Rapp

Johann Louvel

Not that these clowns will consider anyone from abroad but we should at least be looking further afield.

We won't pay for any manager anyway as we don't have a pot to piss in. We will only get someone who doesn't currently have a club.

What kind of player is Bardeli?  What qualities would he bring?

I've posted similar before. It's madness that clubs (not just us) baulk at paying a few hundred thousand in compensation for a manager. Clubs will piss millions up the wall (frequently us) on bang average players but don't want to pay out considerably less when making what is the most crucially important appointment at the club.

I suppose it's because players are regarded as assets that can increase in value, whereas compensation paid to obtain a new manager is just a risky expense (you could pay a few million to get somebody and end up sacking him a few months later). Nonetheless, I think it's a risk we will probably have to take if we want to get somebody decent in. I hope the board has learned that targeting only the cheapest candidates can be a very false economy.

That’s literally the most ridiculous/rubbish list I’ve ever seen.

Latest I've heard is Top wants to give King the first 5 games and see how he gets on. Kingy reluctant but won't let the club down.

Reading your posts, you seem to try incredibly hard to be calm and rational.

You can let go and get angry. There's zero evidence the 'board' (by that you mean the owner plus some executive management yes men) have ever learnt anything.

Action,.maybe that's unfair..after 9 years of Whelan gleefully and spitefully refusing to sell tickets to supporters, the club appears to have learned that occasional younger supporters might be necessary after all..

Give this man a chance. Bring him home

Based on what?
keeping a side up and being an ex player.
Really hope we don’t go down the ex player route because he knows the club.
Made all the difference hiring Rowett and King……

I’ve been advised not to do that until the ankle tag comes off mate.

Judging by the decision-making skills of the upper management, I'm guessing they'll plump for John Terry.
