Words won't make a difference, action will. If the guy had anything about him Rudkin would be gone this morning.

Rudkin going isn't enough to appease anymore. Him selling up is the only option

The trust is led by its members, the members only recently gave us direction to call out the club.

but respectfully, it’s all well and good coming for me, I can accept the criticism. But where were you? Where was anyone else that could have asked questions?

There was around 100 people at full time, which dwindled to 7 after Ricardo left.

You’ve put yourself forward to represent a board. That isn’t how to represent a board. Take the criticism which is correct onboard and learn from it.

Sorry, it was a poor exchange. You lost the conversation and that was evident. If the members have only given you the go ahead to challenge the board, you’ve failed in the first exchange.

it was weak, and useless. We learn from mistakes and for the good of the trust and club, I hope you do. It’s not a case for coming for you. Listen to experience.

It's not as bad as made out and I'd love to know word for word what you'd have said.

The moment you'd have mentioned Rudkin or anyone specific, Top would have ran a mile.

. It's not like this was a scheduled interview.

Blame Top for missing the chance to connect with the fans on a true level, don't blame the fan(s) for not asking some hard-hitting top level journo questions in a manipulative and specific way.

Hindsight is a wonderful thing, right. I'm willing to bet that if you were in that position last night you'd also have still come away thinking 'ah I could have asked this, I could have asked that...' etc.

I get what you’re saying Stan but I’m sorry, I don’t agree with you.

1. if a mention of Rudkin or co would’ve meant he ran mile. Fine. But that is exactly what needs to be mentioned- there is no place for Rudkin here - he needs to know, no title changes that.

2. top connecting with the fans has failed. It was about getting across the issues - an I completely accept raising all of them is unlikely. However, listen again, not one was raised with any conviction.

We NEED this Trust now more than ever. And if criticism is needed, so be it

I think I missed the bit where it said I’m going to reflect and replace and sack those responsible with competent and knowledgeable football people so that  I can streamline the club making it more attractive for future buyers!

Bare in mind I don't think Steve is there as a sole representative of the Trust. He's there (I think?) as a fan first and then a board member. If I'm right in thinking he's mentioned he was asked who he was.

So yeah, the questions could have been tougher or more direct, and I don't think the Trust is avoidant of criticism.

I would like to think the meeting with the Trust on Monday is more direct as there'll be plenty more time to reflect and be more assertive in preparing for speaking to the club. And yes, that would be the time to mention specifics as the club literally can't run or hide in those more official settings.

I think we can agree we'd all do things differently. I would have but perhaps not to the extent that you or others would have. I wouldn't have gone in all guns blazing and expecting hard solid truths in that moment. I perhaps would have asked him more engaging questions, true.

This is it really. Join the Foxes Trust join the trust.

If the trust board contains people without the background - it’s a useless organisation. I’m sorry if that is harsh but it’s true. That exchange there is a genuine WTF moment.

And no, don’t go off f and blind but asking Top to “talk to us” is a 5 year old question which does **** all now.

It’s clear as day, they struggle to understand the magnitude of what is about to come.

I honestly can’t believe that exchange

Are you talking about that exchange outside the entrance?

I feel for the lad asking questions, he's under pressure, emotional....but it was poor stuff..pleading. meek. Subservient.

You can be assertive and authoritative without being rude.

And tbh, as a trust board member, the lad should've been prepped for nerves.

It's our club, not KPs. Never will be theirs.

The simple statement needs to be that they are no longer welcome here and we are demanding they to sell their interest for the health, longevity and security of the club..

Why is Top running a mile an issue? People need to see him for what he is - fed up with people saying about the need for diplomacy, its got us nowhere. Him staying there achieved nothing other than Top thinking hes fronted up.

An issue in the sense that if he runs off then you don't get any questions answered anyway.

In saying that, if he did just walk off at the first sight of a tougher question, it still would have spoken volumes about him.

But he is a board member. And as a fan in that setting could’ve used it to his advantage.

Question, had he asked one of the difficult questions and Top walked away or simply didn’t approach - what would’ve been worse ? Answer truthfully. Because saying something like, Aiyawatt why is Jon Rudkin still here - would’ve been a damn sight more powerful than that entire exchange.

Look who is critical of this exchange the most. See what they do outside of this - how much corporate experience they have at board level. Tommy G for example as he had said on here is a highly skilled CFO - listen to him.

As a fanbase we now need to work together and criticise when it is right to do so - the clubs in serious trouble, it’s not about being nice to each other anymore.

It was a shit exchange and shouldn’t happen again. Thats it. It’s not personal it’s so why we do it better the next time.

A good business person doesn't react to what is going on today, they react to what they can see coming down the line. They prepare the business for it.

The "we promote next season" is damning because we have an owner who cannot see the direction of travel. Blinkers are firmly on.

Even with the horrendous running of the club, we could have used 23/24 to take our poison. Get the points deduction hit. Spend little. Reset. Look at Ipswich, knew they were probably going down, built a solid Champ team for when that happened: future planning.

Instead our ownership thinks that to be a big club you need to offer big club wages and spend money you don't have.

We need the next Pearson to save us. Someone who will have complete control over the footballing side. Sports science. No dickheads. Play for the shirt. Only then will we start to heal.

I know none of the criticism has intended to be personal but it's felt like that reading it.

100% agree we need to work together and criticise when it's right to do so.

I think the Trust have gone a long way to doing that in the last 12 months or so. If you can't see that then that's worrying?

Like I've mentioned before, in that moment I'd have love to know what wording you'd have used for several questions you wanted answering in that short and brief time.

More AI-based crap which is quite frankly insulting. There has been too many words said without being backed up by meaningful action for this to have any affect other than to rile the discontented. Maybe the KPFC cultists take it at face value and maybe that is who it is aimed at.

I would have preferred no statement and instead woke ip this morning to read reports that Rudkin, Rowett & Glover are to step down. That would be real leadership.
