You've seen one tweet about him saying that he can play as a centre midfielder or a centre back and decided that he's not good enough to play a single position based on absolutely nothing though? haha

Never said he personally isnt good enough. I said players that are often regularly shimmied between positions are usually done so because they arent good enough to hold one position down. And from looking at his stats hes regulary swapping between CB and CDM

"Jack of all trades, master of none" was your sole comment on someone you've never seen play a single minute of football. He played over 80% of his games last season as a number 6 and the other as a CB when their first choice CB was injured. It's akin to saying that Declan Rice is a "jack of all trades, master of none" because he ended up having to play RB for a couple of games last season and has previously played CB.

Declan Rice has spent the last 7 seasons playing as a CM. Im pretty sure its safe to say hes a CM

And Yussif Saidu, whilst having never watched him play, has played every season of both his professional and youth career in centre midfield....

Yes a large loan fee with a £3/4m buy out. Can we do that?

His last loan fee was €120k.

Can you point to the evidence that this is what will need to be paid, I missed that.

Sorry I was looking up his story but can't remember where I found it.  Will try tomorrow

wildly quiet, probably should have been the busiest week of the window going into 2nd game now, no ball playing CB's. Unless they can pull a rabbit out the hat we are in bother

I reckon we’ll get one of those on loan, but he’ll be a ‘prospect’ from one of the big clubs and very raw. He’ll be expected to compensate for Souttar’s lack of pace while benefiting from Souttar’s experience and direction.

Souttars experience and direction led to him not playing to the whistle last week and us conceding, something you learn at about 5 years old

Not been impressed by Souttar at all, looks panicky, I actually think over all Okoli has been the better fit for Russball. It's just a shame he's so prone to sloppy passes too often.

If I was feeling incredibly generous I might attribute that to Souttar momentarily forgetting that he was no longer at the WC and that VAR isn't there to bail him out in League One. I don't really believe it, but I suppose it's possible.

2 more spaces in terms of being able to be all in Matchday squad is the right. Max of 5, but no limit to how many you can actually have on loan?

I thought he was really solid at the World Cup, but Australia of course play with 3 centre backs and he was the middle one. Very different to LCFC and he has bloody Luke Thomas & Skipp or Okoli as his passing targets. Not surprising this hasn't worked all that well so far.

I feel sorry for Souttar. Signed for a Premier League team, gets bad injuries, plays in a World Cup and is suddenly in the third tier. If he stays I'm sure he'll come good.
