Five games in, and he’s ****ing desperate already. I’d much rather we just get rid of him now, we’re already an embarrassment, we’re fast becoming something even worse than that. 2

So anyone who thinks he's magically going to accept his methods don't work is off their head. It'll be the players fault for being too inexperienced or struggling to handle the pressure. Or the fans fault for putting too much pressure on the team. Anyone's fault for RM really. 1

Thebluefox85 Posted 7 September Posted 7 September (edited) I don't actually hate Martin. anyone that knows anything about football knows he isn't a good manager his record speaks for itself he's not trying to hide how bad of a manager he is. tbf to him he's been very consistent at every club he's been in, and every fan from those clubs says exactly the same, he's stubborn, arrogant, clueless, blames anyone but himself and doesn't have a plan b, which is what we are seeing. Its the board that are the problem they appointed this clown they thought he was the man for the job when every bit of evidence proves he was the worst candidate for the job, which he's proven to be the case so far. In the position we are in why would you gamble on a manager that was basically ran out of rangers because despite how bad he was, he still refused to quit or see what he was doing to the club. getting our arses handed to us by oxford at the weekend has to be one of our worse ever defeats and his interview afterwards was unbelievable. the players didn't have a clue what they were doing on Saturday and I refuse at the moment to blame the players as a lot of them are new and should not be suffering from the rot at this club yet! we are in for a very rough season under this board and this manager so hold on tight. daddylonglegs Posted 7 September Posted 7 September If you think they're bad at making decisions as important as the managerial decision was back in June, just imagine how badly wrong they'll get the next one. They had 3 months to prepare for the Martin decision. They'll have to think very quickly here. We'll probably be in the bottom four with a squad of players not suited for a relegation fight, with no budget to spend in January as we've spent all our money on hiring Martin and his mates, before subsequently firing Martin. Genuinely could be a case where we see King/Sadler etc back in the hot seat.

That would be all well and good if we'd stayed up in the championship last season and a mid table finish would be considered acceptable following survival the season before. The issue is we don't have time. We can't afford to keep throwing points away. 1
Ricey Posted 7 September Posted 7 September I don't feel any anger towards Martin. You know what you are getting with him. You don't buy a dog and then wonder why it only barks. All of my anger is that the decision-makers who thought it would be a good idea. No other football club in the country makes that decision. A year previous he was being called a w*nker at Bournemouth away, and then they decide to bring him in right at time when they needed to get the fans back on board. I almost don't want him to be sacked yet as I'm scared about what Rudkin's contact book will come up with next. 4

We have two big strikers, we have goalkeeper who is rubbish on the ball but seems decent with his hands, we have an experienced grafter in midfielder in Lundstrom and big experienced centre backs in Souttar and O'Hora.

Don't get me wrong, I get managers are disliked at certain clubs, but every single club hes touched absolutely resent him. 1

Dyche laughed us off when we were in a much better situation than we are now. Absolutely no chance Dyche comes anywhere near this club.
