When I watched an under 21 game he featured in all I can remember was he was very small but really comfortable on the ball and got about the pitch

Reckon going by the above without knowing of him too well that he is probably another KDH/Briggs type that needs time for his body to develop, think he’s ready for a senior loan now or it’ll be a later one like those two?

Agreed, I think the striker situation is quite interesting but with the quality of him and Evans they have to play! 
 

Considering our financial situation I could see an initial plan where Russ Martin starts BDR/Chaplin up there to link the game for an hour and pull defenders around, then 60/65 Evans & Hutchinson come on and stretch the game and take advantage of tired legs!  

 

Kevin Nolan predicted Evans to be his L1 player of the season last week.

If we go into the season without a new striker we have learnt nothing from last season.

 

It was a massive reason we ended up relegated.

 

If we go into the season with just Evans and Hutchinson we are big trouble. They are talent lads but need someone to learn from who can carry the burden of being CF for the biggest team in the league.

 

Playing midfielders out of position isn't the answers either.

We’ll play sooooo many games this season so there’s plenty of opportunities for the youngsters to offer support.

The way Martin operates as well, the likes of Evans or Hutchinson could play a huge part alongside an out and out centre forward as he tends to play versatile forwards out wide or in a two.

Ideally at least 2 of the 3 from Evans, Otchere, and Hutchinson will be involved a decent amount in this season

 

Evans I think should have a very good chance being able to provide a wide option as well and then it would just be between Otchere and Hutchinson

 

Whichever of them isn't going to be involved needs to be out on loan

In 23/34 Adam Armstrong got 21 G, 13 A under Martin - Evans is a similar profile so there might be green shoots there

I’d like a proper ‘9’ for sure!
Tolaj for me makes so much sense!! 

Knows the league, powerful, quick and at a great age to hopefully make the step back us with us 

We’d also be the biggest team he’s played for with the best training ground etc, so hopefully he can use some of the Monga, Okoli money etc. to persuade and get him in!
