@Holly B making her/himself out to be more knowledgeable than you about said player, without actually saying anything as per. Quite sad really

It’s comedy, I’m sure all these “ITKs” are the same person with different accounts. They even type in the same way

The number of academy players featuring in training has been a crowd pleaser in the first weeks of pre-season. Alongside Braybrooke, Page, Will Alves and Kevon Gray, there have been appearances made by Joseph, Jake Evans, goalkeeper Stevie Bausor and Henry Cartwright - who left the club on Friday.

However, a video shared on Tuesday showed two new faces appearing in Riley Carr and Tommy Neale. The duo were regulars for the Under-21s last year and are two exciting names waiting for their chance.

Carr, who is a right winger, joined the club from Hertford Town last August after becoming the youngest player and youngest goalscorer in the non-league club's history. The winger went on to play 14 times for the Under-21s and 13 for the Under-18s last term and will be looking to become a regular this year.

With Abdul Fatawu not yet in pre-season and expected to depart this summer, there is the possibility that Carr could be used in pre-season. Neale, 20, is a central midfielder that became a regular for the Under-21s last season.

A defensive-minded midfielder, Neale had his contract extended by the club in the summer after having his impressive performances in the academy. Similar to Logan Briggs and Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall, Neale is naturally a small midfielder who needs time for his body to develop.

Briggs has gone out on loan to League Two side Northampton and a temporary stay for Neale could be on the cards to help him mature and grow into senior football.

Shame this

Man City usually pay their way and if Motsi didn't notify us he was off before end of May then we ought to be in a stronger position. We have a decent relationship with Man City.

This is a shame as he would get in our team next season, or ought to.

Wonder if the Monga fee has already taken some of this into account ???

We should just organise an Academy Auction day and put them all up for sale

Have we? Can't do much when the big fish come calling. Money talks, BS walks.

Don’t think we can do anything about it unless his parents do the right thing like Mongas

He hasn't come back to training this season so I'd guess the parents have notified the club. Nor have a few others. Christian Boothe another and the 4 deregistered from the U15 too.

The 4 deregistered from the U15s are all internationals as well aren't they. Consequence of our decline.

I don't think Manny was. Might be wrong. Obi is a great player. Elo was decent and Naz is hyped but I watched him a lot. All I'll say is skills aren't everything.
