World Cup Final - Spain Vs. Argentina - Sunday 19th July

I think Messi will score so Spain will need 2. The way Spain dealt comfortably at fullback nullifying France’s wide players and bossed the midfield, I started constructing an England master plan to get around that. Basically sacrificed our width, play 2 up top, Anderson anchoring with 3 in front of him possibly the lesser spotted Mainoo or Rogers alongside Rice and Bellingham. That was before I saw how Sharp Saka is but anyway, wondered if Argiecheaters will do something similar, change shape to not get outnumbered in midfield ?

All 3. Actually not sure if Argentina corrupt though they benefit. Argentina simply hateful

I was referring to the National football team, not the country

That said, there's plenty of evidence of government corruption. But that's for a different topic.

Yes I meant the football team. Pretty sure the government is dodgy

As I’m becoming a temporary Spanish Citizen in an hour and a half, lacking in any actual Spanish language knowledge, I’ll just be typing in capitals (to emphasise volume) and adding “Os” to every word like people do on holiday :dunno:

I’ve already started my transition by doing f** all for 3/4 of the day and chilling in a hammock because it’s a bit too hot to work.

My one fear is Argiecheaters will try to incite a red card early doors like they did with Anderson, kicking s**t out of him to try to provoke the slightest little finger on a face. Could be Rodri who to be honest deserves 2 yellows a game for his break stopping fouls on the halfway line (at Man City he inherited the Fernandinho job).

"Dos cervezas por favor"

"Las Malvinas son Ingleses por siempere, cabron"

"Argentina es no forte, vamos Espana"

"Disculpe senor, donde esta la Belgrano?"

Bout all you need for tonight

Another star for Messi(Argentina), it'll be.

They are pretty heavy underdogs on paper, but I agree, I think he will do it again

The Argentines could start an argument with a team of saints and I don't mean Southampton

Even so, they were not playing a team of saints.

Yes, but we all know why. You'd be pretty pissed off if you'd been hacked at, shoved, fouled with no consequences, elbowed in the head, stamped on, goaded and insulted for 90 minutes

Honest question, would you rather England played like they did and go out or they played like Agentina did and were in the final tonight?

I’d rather that referees gave out red cards for violent conduct caught on 50 different cameras, and gave yellow cards for accumulation more often than every 22 fouls (which is the number for Argentina this World Cup, but every 7 fouls for England, as a counter example)
