Hahahaha Red shite 8th

not a chance me oad

They were not in any particular order.

I’d say historically they have a bigger fan base than us and with their more recent success, they’ll have grown.

What are you basing this on? Because it’s not facts, so is it ‘World Famous City Ground’ vibes?

What is King Power’s asking price for us again? £140m? £1.40 might end up looking like a fair price

It’s all a bit opinionated isn’t it?

Like who is the bigger club, Manchester United, or Liverpool.

I’d just saying from my perspective we aren’t 7th. I “perceive” Forest to have a bigger following than us.

Historically our average attendance figures are larger than both forest and derby. This talk of forest having a big fan base that seems to reverberate around media outlets is a fallacy.

We’ll end up getting sold for £1 at the rate we are going.

If we are going off the attendance figures King Power publish, then we know they’re false. The ground was half empty last year and it was being reported at 28,000+

They’re building a 52,500 seater stadium.

We were looking to increase ours to 40,000.

"Who is the bigger club" and questions of that ilk are tedious dick measuring contests but, building a bigger ground ≠ having a bigger fanbase.

Were going off 150 years of history of their figures against ours. Its only the last few years that our figures have been doctored. We had practically full houses whilst in the premier league.

Nottingham is a slightly smaller city than Leicester. Their attendance figures in the championship were on the whole slightly worse than ours. They are not a well followed club. A 52k stadium is very optimistic for them and is to accommodate other events and growth. Out 40k stadium design should be more 45k in my view. We could achieve 30k season ticket holders in the premier league and thats without the casual fan and then away fans to add in.

Nottingham is also a two club city. Agreed 52k stadium is optimistic, for either Forest or Leicester. Low 40s seems sensible for both long term.

We are a two sports club city really when you consider the Tigers have a capacity larger than Notts County’s Meadow Lane.

You can fill a 54000 seater stadium if you can sustain yourself in the Premier League. As soon as you don’t however, it’s a liability.

When has it ever been bigger? They've not had bigger average attendances than us for decades

Not sure if this has been covered elsewhere but this why we're not going to buy anyone unless get get taken over.

I know the figures are only rough estimates based on media reports but you have got to wonder why we apparently owe so much in transfer fees based on the ins & outs

Somethings to point out.

The Nottingham conurbation population is a good 150k larger than Leicester’s.Thats not including their next door neighbour. The whole Leicester is bigger than Nottingham thing is a myth spawn from the crazy way we draw up our administrative borders.

Leicester have direct competition from the Leicester Tigers.Even more so when their fortunes pickup and ours nose dive.

At least 40% of the City of Leicester’s population does not lend itself to following football.

So with all that in mind I think Leicester do well to be about neck and neck with them

We sold Monga for 10m + probably a sell on fee, so there is 10% of the build covered already.

Obviously we need better investment in staff, recuritment models, coaches etc and most importnaltly at the top with Top and Rudkin to make it a real success.

Every year spent out the of the PL you need to be selling at least one Monga  just to keep the lights on in the place
