1972 Fox Posted 10 August Posted 10 August 4 hours ago, ACF said: This rubbish of “interest payments costing us £200k a week” Yes, we’ve borrowed money, but we’ve borrowed it against money we were already receiving, and received less money than what we would have for the ability to use it now. It’s the difference between a credit card, and a cash advance. We’re not literally paying a weekly bill and we’ve also not taken on bad debt, we’ve not put the stadium up as collateral. It’s a bad cycle to be in and the club should be rightfully held to account for it, but Top and King Power are clearly not putting cash in, and with our operating expenses, we needed cash flow. We are not repaying a loan. We did this with transfer incomings, when United agreed to pay us over X years, and we needed the cash to fund replacements. It’s not bad debt, it’s just a sign that the club needs the cash. Thanks Kieran.
FoxesWalk Posted 10 August Posted 10 August Good chance Stockport finish above us, why are we strengthening them? 4

GrobyLCFC31 Posted 11 August Posted 11 August Another one that the manager clearly doesn’t rate too highly and instead of letting him sit in the U23’s for a season we’ve got a fee for him, Need 2 CB’s as soon as possible! 2
Rubbersoul Posted 11 August Posted 11 August Be interesting to see how him & Cartwright get on in the same league as us. Will be hilarious if they end up being class
Claudio Fannieri Posted 11 August Posted 11 August Reckon this must mean we have a deal for a centre back done and dusted to have let this deal go through 1

Do you think they are going to turn into world beaters over night? Edited 11 August by coolhandfox 1

lfu Posted 11 August Posted 11 August I was really impressed with him the 2025 preseason, thought he might break into the first team and oust Luke Thomas from the matchday squad 😭

My post wasn’t meant to be taken too seriously tbh I just meant the way things have been going it’ll be typical if 2 young lads let go end up being great
