I know he passes it of as his own opinion, but it's interesting that Tanner thinks that the proverbial straw was when Aiyawatt was confronted by the fans outside the stadium last season.

I wonder whether he's heard more than he's letting on here.

There's no doubt the pressure from fans played a massive part in this.

Think they frightened him to death.

If you go steamrolling into someone like Aiyawatt then you’re not going to get anywhere and he’ll bolt. It was discussed at the time why the ‘badger’ as you called him didn’t do that and he actually got some words out of him by trying to placate him. Sometimes you need to be a bit diplomatic rather than going in gung ho and having a pop at him, even though you might want to.

Exactly

It’s like being a hostage negotiator (I think!) 😂

I remember people kicking off about not having a pop at him at the time. The guy is a flight risk, he seems scared of his own shadow never mind people yelling at him for being incompetent 😂

If I remember there was an absolute badger who was suddenly the spokesperson for the crowd who asked a couple of putrid questions then started ass licking.

Think he's talking about you mate @GLC

When was the last time a Leicester exclusive journalist broke some news that isn’t actually already doing the rounds?

almost seems like they have no intel or source whatsoever.

So, from what I have been told , Leicester City still owes £60m to King power/ Top and his family. Through loans and repayments. This is unlikely to be written off  as equity simply because  they are trying to sell. I’m unsure how this will factor in to the asking price, but this money being repaid will no doubt be part of the discussions..

I disagree. Being skint and not having the money to bail us out is literally the only reason. Financially it’s destroying him.  He doesn’t give a damn about the fans or our views

Wasn't that the most polite and least intimidating confrontation in the history of confrontations?

Still the most confrontational situation he's ever been in by far I would imagine.

Would have been a shock to him given his underlings have been rimming his and his family’s arse for the past 16 years telling him how loved he is etc

Bloke has really thin skin, remember the statement after the first relegation

One thing that Tanner missed out with regards to Tops interview in January was how uncomfortable Top looked when asked about whether he would sell the club. He also missed out part of his response which was that when he said he wasn’t interested in selling he then added “ maybe if a rich middle eastern person was interested “ so, I think back then he WAS entertaining the idea of selling, but only decided to go all out recently.

I've said this elsewhere, but they've been actively open to selling both clubs for years.. And with that knowledge, the uncomfortable reaction makes a lot more sense as they probably didn't want that to be public knowledge.

there has to be more.

if the question “ are you going to put money into the club to keep us going?” Makes you want to sell your dads legacy, I’d be very surprised.

if it was something like “ **** off you slitty eyed tvvat, your wife is ugly also” then fair enough.

Which is what infuriates me the most when I see the majority just sat on their arse and applauding failure week after week, when we don’t actually realise how much pull we have. Phil
