I liked him. He never had a run...but also could never follow up a decent cameo performance with a second. He never therefore grabbed his chance. 

 

 

Contrary to this pantomime villain nonsense, I met him with my daughter briefly after that friendly in Germany (under Cooper)  and he was, superficially at least, a very mature and decent and polite young fella.

 

The move will do him good and I'm firmly in that minority that wishes him every success
