One of the main issues is we keep promoting from within for senior business roles. We need a full reset and some outside ideas to really look at the business and be ruthless when it comes to the major failings. The core leadership team need their marching orders and we need successful business leaders to build the new structure.

Rudkin has a monopoly on the whole situation and whilst he is untouchable cronyism will rule.

Top desperately needs independent guidance, not more people serving their own and their masters’ benefit.

Oh I agree, but Vichai dying is pointed too all the time yet my argument is we were more successful after he died?

Agree on the Pearson thing, which I alluded to in my post. I think he was more of a bigger influence on the club than people give him credit for.

I think in the last 10 years, we have seen a couple of examples of coat-tailing success.

I don’t mean to take away from Ranieri at all, the situation in 2016 aligned and I think we all agree that if Pearson had been in charge, we’d have had a good season but not done the impossible. But similarly, Ranieri benefited from what Pearson and his staff had set up and most were still there, including Walsh and Shakespeare.

Then we come to the more success after Vichai passed. It was again, a squad built under the previous era, such as left over from the title era or under Puel for his faults with on field performances and results. People also suggest Rodgers was admired by Vichai and not completely Aiyawatt’s man. This also points towards Aiyawatt having dined out on a short spell of success that was primed to be possible before October 2018.

What I mean is, I feel like other than when Pearson was in charge, everything seems to have been build on sand, ready to fall down at any time!

I’d love to believe that there is a greater power punishing our little club for overachieving and making a fool of EPL rules. But alas, there is one man to blame, and he shares 50% of the DNA of the man who made us experience the greatest season in our clubs history.

Jon Rudkin, largely responsible for most of the issues. Him being able to insist on a failed style and invest millions into players we let go for nothing.

What evidence do you have that he has insisted on a failed style?

Employing Martin was madness from the outset. Fans didn't want him and his career in a nose dive. That the club in a nose dive could think it was the correct decision smacks of dangerous delusion.

Lack of Management, Lack of vision, Lack of Investment, Lack of leadership, Lack of knowledge, Lack of Belief, Lack of fan power, Lack of Club over player power !

This list I could continue to write for the next few weeks ! Everything has gone wrong 😑

Who is Jon Rudkin employed by? Who has kept him employed - sorry, PROMOTED him - despite overseeing the greatest fall in club football history?

I totally agree with you about Martin but where is the evidence that Rudkin has insisted  on a failed style?

I feel that actually giving Martin the job was asking for the failed style

So I guess this will never happen now even the new owners if and when they get in probably won’t fund our expansion and surely the planning permission time frame has lapsed by now?

Because he employed Puel, Rodgers, Enzo, Cifuentes and his wet dream Martin, that style is a failed style its proven in how many games we have lost in the past 5 years.

I see we're 16/1 for relegation with William Hill.

Expert odds to shorten over the next few weeks if we don't win the next couple of games.

Shop around we got 33/1

I agree the person who employs him is also a clown and should have sacked him instead of allowing him to continue on the same path. I can only assume top has the same footballing vision of tippy tappy in the National League.

It doesn't work, it will never work with the quality of players we can acquire. The players needed to make a success of this style are the best in the world, we dont have the resource for that.

Yes, but if you didn’t notice the cracks, you weren’t paying attention.

I've been paying attention since King Power took over. They have always thrown money about. They were lucky that Pearson wanted to come back, otherwise we'd have been in this mess a long time ago (and yes, when Vichai was alive). All that money they spent on Sven especially, it was ridiculous, and when Pearson did get us promoted we had to pay a FFP fine. Without Pearson we'd have just been stuck in the Championship or relegated to League One much earlier.

So, back to my original point, we were most successful after Vichai died anyway (consistently) but that doesn't mean I think the club we were a well run club. Thank you to people laughing at my post without debating though.

If you pay enough attention you will have noticed I have never supported King Power or backed them like other people seem to do so much. There was always a few of us that posted the opposite on here.

That’s because the model was at its peak, after this it just gradually declined to what we see today….. I think what’s fair to say is, if Vichai were still here, the model wouldn’t have eroded…. That’s the crooks to our decline, we moved away from a successful model, because Rudkin essentially was allowed to run the club, which he has business doing.

When did the club first decide that the way forward was a possession based TTB ( tippy tappy bollox) style . I assumed that was under Enzo ( who had some of the players required to make it work).
Why are the numskulls running the club still in thrall to that philosophy believing it’s the only way to succeed ?

Regardless of how it happened, we were successful after Vichai died. People point to his death as the turning point but I don’t think so.

I’ve always thought there were holes in the plan, even under Vichai. The fact is, King Power are not knowledgeable football people and they don’t surround themselves with people who are. There were signs they didn’t care about the fans, didn’t know how to scout a manager,  spent too much money on gambles, etc. But they got some big decisions right that mitigated the mistakes.

But things have been unravelling in double quick time since early in Top’s reign. And the difference is, I suspect, Top doesn’t care enough about his own reputation to put in effort and make decisions. Vichai did things wrong, but he made decisions.

So, King Power were never the heroes everyone made them out to be. They had quite a bit of luck. But Top is clearly so, so bad at what he does that of course we can trace the decline back to him. It takes a special kind of shite to run things this badly.

Sportswashing. That's what's happened.

LCFC as I know it has died. The majority of fans have sold out.

People only think Sportswashing happens when you have Middle Eastern owners.

A good majority of our fans have been totally brainwashed and sadly it’ll rumble on under the next ownership, if we survive that long of course.

Anything that goes wrong they’ll blame the “boo boys” for forcing “the family” out when they’ve done so much for us!
