SCOFF CRUDDLE Posted 3 February 2006 Share Posted 3 February 2006 Hi again, Just popping back for your latest comments on Fryatt. I am not surprised in the least that he has already scored a couple of goals in a few games for you as I said he would, even after stepping up a level. But how has he played? Has he been lucky to get the goals or has he deserved them? Hope he stuffs a hat trick past the dingles tomorrow.
martyn Posted 3 February 2006 Share Posted 3 February 2006 Saw him for the first time at QPR on Wednesday. Wasn't involved that much but his workrate was decent, his hold up play good and scored from his 1 chance in the game. Didn't look the quickest player I have ever seen, but this didn't inhibit his play.

Benji Posted 3 February 2006 Share Posted 3 February 2006 Excited about the prospect of seeing Fryatt, Hume, Wesolowski and possibly Smith (if he bucks up his ideas) all on the same pitch! hope he does prove to be trouble spot for your rivals

Cat Burger Posted 4 February 2006 Share Posted 4 February 2006 Both goals were a bit lucky. Old cliché: It doesn't matter how they go in.
SystonFox Posted 4 February 2006 Share Posted 4 February 2006 his goal against Cardiff was a poachers goal, did well to nod it over the line when he had a big defender over him. his goal against QPR was well taken although after momentarily losing the ball it bumbled off a QPR players leg and fell to him. nice finish. all in a all looks a quality signing, hope him and Hume hit it off quickly. who have Warsaw got today? good luck! Doncaster - it's a hell of a long way from home. Fryatt is quality - he's scoring, and that's what he's paid to do. He has a bit of luck now and then to help the ball in, but who cares - if he wasn't getting in and around players in the box, the chance wouldn't be there to begin with. Class - thanks for letting us have him

Chimp Posted 4 February 2006 Share Posted 4 February 2006 Fryatt was fantastic today, high workrate, very strong, good hold up play when needed and always a threat. With scoring in each of the 3 games he's started he's certainly hit the ground running which is just the start any new striker needs at a club. Long may he continue to perfrom to such a high standard.
