That is good to be fair. Tempted by that. Does it still stand though given West Brom have since played?

I've just backed no PL manager to leave at 20/1 (PaddyPower, Betfair also have this but limit you to a £5 stake, I had £20 on PP)

Huddersfield - new bloke, won't go now

Cardiff - Be amazed if they sack Warnock

Burnley - Won't sack Dyche unless it's a disaster

Newcastle - Won't sack Benitez unless it's a disaster

Palace - Possible they sack Hodgson if they get pulled right into trouble, but unlikely, and they would be struggling for alternatives (Moyes possibly)

Fulham - Not impossible that Ranieri goes but I'd still say it's unlikely. I think they, along with Leicester probably worry me the most though

Southampton - No chance Hasenhuttl goes before the end of the season

Brighton - Hughton won't be sacked bar a disaster

Bournemouth - Howe won't be sacked bar a disaster

Everton - Silva I think may come under pressure if they fall any further but I get the feeling they might just avoid going up that route this time

West Ham - Pellegrini doing fairly well, highly unlikely to get the chop

Wolves - Not a prayer

Watford - 7th in the table so highly unlikely even if they do love a sacking, think given how high they are, if Gracia went it would end up being the summer

This leaves the top six. I think only Sarri of them is under any threat of losing his job.

And of course, the obvious one, the main reason that these odds are so high, Leicester.

I think despite a lot of discontent, Puel will probably survive the season barring a disaster. Nursey thinks he's safe and Nursey's quite reliable isn't he? I think we've probably got to suck it up to be honest and wait for the summer. It's going to be a long few months unless he improves things. I concede if we lose our next four, which is very possible, then he will probably go.

I think other than Puel there's no obvious candidate for the chop.

I've had a few like this where there's a fair case for it and then something happens to blow the whole thing up immediately lol but I do think it's hard to pick a very obvious candidate. Puel, Sarri, Ranieri and Silva my only worries.

If you were an ardent Puel-outer you could back the other three and then if Puel went first you've got a result anyway lol

Is there a 'lay' market on Betfair exchange to bet against Puel going?

I just cannot see Puel leaving you know and he is the obvious candidate. I also think Sarri and Silva will do enough to survive. I think Ranieri is the only dodgy one to be honest, they've spent a lot haven't they so will their owners want to gamble with a survival specialist in big Sam for the last 15 games or so?

I do agree that Ranieri is probably a bigger threat than I'm giving him credit for. If it wasn't for the fact he's already come in for someone I think he'd probably be in serious trouble.

Do wonder though if they'll just stick with him. Weirdly I actually don't think Allardyce would go there unless it was say this week when he still has a slight chance to get some of his own players in. He's making his money these days as a survival specialist and Fulham could be in such a dire position that they compromise his career. Same applies to a lot of them.

Isn't Ranieri on a three year deal as well?

Hodgson is the outside bet. Didn't realise how badly Palace were actually doing. I'd still say most are unlikely though.

Not at the moment but worth checking again the Competition Specials section on Skybet at the weekend to see what they have. I hadn't noticed it before putting that bet on so they may update it week by week.

I've also got on Man City to win The FA Cup and League Cup at 5/1.

If Fulham go down. Which it’s looking likely, Ranieri will resign. He won’t stick around for the championship.

I seem to recall Ranieri walked out mid season on a club that subsequently got relegated?

I don't think Fulham would want him for the Championship either tbh. Think they'll be nervous giving him the summer window, as his recruitment record isn't the best.

Most likely he'll leave first thing in summer, but they might want a caretaker or new permanent guy in early once relegation is confirmed.
