Master Fox Posted 2 March 2006 Posted 2 March 2006 Its all kicking off again on talking balls, im keeping out of this one now. Oh no!! Not again...!! Do we really have to go through all of this over Birch again..??
BartonFox Posted 2 March 2006 Posted 2 March 2006 I've been reading your posts on another site, very interesting. Do you really think it's only a matter of time before 'he' gets the boot? I think Saturday could be fun, if he is there with the mic check the roof for snipers!!! These stories don't get made up on the spot by someone having a laugh, too many people who know things know about this and what is going on. Do you not find it strange that neither Radio Leicester or the Mercury are doing some digging? Where is the Trust? Actually all 3 are under a gagging order of sorts from Castle Greyskull, things like this don't happen from one post on the www. Seriously something is a foot and TD has made a huge error of judgement. That said it should be good for the Club in the long term. Best of order please, lets play DARTS!!!!!

Katy Posted 2 March 2006 Posted 2 March 2006 Its going to be a weird old atmosphere at the Walkers on saturday, I guess we'll see whether the Birch is there or not ay.
BartonFox Posted 2 March 2006 Posted 2 March 2006 Its going to be a weird old atmosphere at the Walkers on saturday, I guess we'll see whether the Birch is there or not ay. You're right there. Personally, I'd give Taylor abuse when he appears and when we go a goal up, but I would also vent my spleen at TD. If the Board hear the fans against him, he'll be gone in no time as will his sidekick, the failed Capital Radio media exec. Nearly half a million saved in one go
davieG Posted 2 March 2006 Posted 2 March 2006 It is strange that the Foxes_Trust haven't been on here, they are usually the first to squash rumours but this one just won't go away. They posted this on Talking Balls "We are aware of some things we cannot reveal at the request of the club and we will respect that as good practice within employment law" As far as I'm aware employment law says you have to be given 30 days notice that your job is at risk, in which case, if this has happened then no one is officially or legally redundant. It could well be that the gun has been fired but the bullet has yet to hit the body. That could be why TD is able to say no one, including AB has been made redundant,

Suffolk_fox Posted 2 March 2006 Posted 2 March 2006 I for one am getting a little fed up with this silly rumour. Birch is doing his end of Season run, and is NOT LEAVING. I have this from the man himself! Can we all stop reading into things that are not there?

You merely have to be paid what you are owed... Known as gardening leave...

Thracian Posted 2 March 2006 Posted 2 March 2006 Sadly not the case. You merely have to be paid what you are owed... Known as gardening leave... I've been debating this and it is a point. But, the email I had from TD was unambiguous - "there have been no redundancies" (and it would be quickly suspicious in AB's case if he suddenly disappeared so I don't see what Leicester would have to gain by trying to be clever with words, it wouldn't really make sense). And I believe the Foxes Trust stated somewhere that AB "will not be leaving" (Apologies and I'm sure they'll correct me if I'm wrong). Another poster says he's spoken to AB himself which ought to help. Together those things make fairly convincing evidence I would say. TD also totally refutted other things in the original post relating to Rob Kelly and Martin George. Again there was no ambiguity or clever phraseology. I don't say nothing has happened. All sorts of things may be going on in the background of a football club, and often are, There could also have been some internal discipline, upheaval, proposals made which someone reacted to (such things happen all the time and in all big firms) but what hard evidence I have been party to so far suggests that the original post has, as yet, not been given any concrete credibility whatsoever. Indeed, so much of it has been convincingly denied (and there is absolutely no sense denying these things in writing if they are later to be proven true) that there seems to be very little left.
BartonFox Posted 2 March 2006 Posted 2 March 2006 Indeed, so much of it has been convincingly denied (and there is absolutely no sense denying these things in writing if they are later to be proven true) that there seems to be very little left. Tim Davies didn't know anything about Martin George, he couldn't, it was/is all going on above him and he is on the chopping block, he's not going to come out and say "yes Martin is looking to get back involved and it's goodnight from me." Nothing has been convincingly denied in my eyes and the most telling fact that something is going on is the lack of noise from the Foxes Trust. Either they have been 'gagged' or they have just realised the Club has been riding rough-shod over them since day one and embarrassment is keeping them off here and The Fox.

filbertway Posted 2 March 2006 Posted 2 March 2006 Sorry that was the noise of 25,000 numbskulls happy-clapping to 'Rocking All Over the World', 3,000 traveling fans pissing themselves and about 4,000 groaning in sheer and utter embarrassment and disbelief. I still stand by my statement

Just been busy on other message boards & we are not hiding anywhere. As we stated on TalkingBalls - We are aware of some things we cannot reveal at the request of the club & we will respect that as good practice within employment law. That isn't being gagged, but is being responsible - we do not wish to post information that could harm the club. Remember Mr Wise won his case for procedures not being handled correctly. So Barton in the organisation called LCFC who is above TD as you state above? Feel free to PM us if you don't wish to post on here

Legends in their own minds. We are just normal fans, who have full time jobs & in our spare time aim to get fans views over to those that matter at the club. We are also the 13th largest shareholder

Foxes_Trust Posted 2 March 2006 Posted 2 March 2006 unlucky for some?! Well we keep making further investments, so its grown from the initial £100k. Our next planned investment should move us up to 12th at some point during 2006. Mind you the more members we have, the quicker we can invest, you can join us here http://www.foxestrust.com/join/joinwp.htm The more teams that take part in the 5 a side will also make it happen quicker.
