The People's Hero Posted 14 May 2006 Posted 14 May 2006 Sunderland should appeal on the basis that they never had any good players available either. Also, Birmingham had about 46 players injured all season.
willy37 Posted 14 May 2006 Posted 14 May 2006 Out: Tiatto (Derby Free) - kelly says he wants to keep de Vries (Hibs 1.2m)- we could use the extra striker, cant see us geting 1.2 m for him, infact NO CHANCE Stearman (Brum 1.5m and 1m extra if they gain promotion)- brum wont pay that, and hes worth 2m + Williams (Man City 500k)- possible truth but i stil rate williams in our team and think hes worth at least 1m Sylla (Alloa Athletic 100k)- HOPEFULLY TRUE!!!! Kisnorbo (Everton 3m)- cant complain if we get 3m for him Ins Commons (Forest 700k- i would like to see but dont think it will happen Sodje (Brentford Free)- wouldnt want to leave brentford, dont rate him that highly Kenton (Southampton Free)- maybe truth behind the rumour, wouldnt complain if he joined Flitcroft (Blackburn 400k)- gotta be joking????? Eastwood (Southend 1m)- as mentioned why would he leave just after promotion Foster (Man U Loan)- never heard of this guy, guess hes a youngster Muriqui (Vasco da Gama 2m)- more chance of de vries getting the golden boot for next season Muzzy Izzet to make suprise Leicester return (on a pay as you play deal.)- Personally i think this would be a good thing for lcfc and muzzy. but its upto rob if he thinks he can impove our squad
Muz Posted 14 May 2006 Posted 14 May 2006 Foster (Man U Loan)- never heard of this guy, guess hes a youngster He's a keeper , been on loan at Watford all season. Rated very highly.

Foxes til i die Posted 14 May 2006 Posted 14 May 2006 dont moan at me! i got them from http://www.football-rumours.com/dodgy.htm bout half way down the page
TAFKA Castroneves Posted 14 May 2006 Posted 14 May 2006 It wouldn't surprise me if de Vries did go back to Scotland, he's had proven success there with Hearts, if we can get a bit of cash for him even better! As for the rest, I don't agree with a lot of those linked with us but some of the departures are quite understandable.
Stevosevic Posted 14 May 2006 Posted 14 May 2006 dont moan at me! i got them from http://www.football-rumours.com/dodgy.htm bout half way down the page why did you start a new thread for it then? there are already two threads allocated to transfer rumours

bald reynard Posted 19 May 2006 Posted 19 May 2006 An ex-colleague who has just moved to the Sports Desk at the (London) Evening Standard, has heard a couple of 'whispers' in regard to City:- "Rob Kelly is in discussions with released Fulham left-back Adam Green and ex-Palace midfielder Aki Riihilahti, with a view to signing both on Free transfers" Apparently Green is 22, WAS highly rated at Fulham, but has not been able to claim a regular place in the 1st team, because of experienced Internationals ahead of him (interesting that the 'signing on' of Marshall as Chief Scout - who was at Fulham for many years - might facilitate this ?). Riihilahti has also recently lost his place at Palace - and wants more regular football.

We are facing competition apparently from Sheff Wednesday for Green (he has been on loan there - competition for Gilbert ?!) and a return to Finland for Riihilahti.
