Luke_Leicester_Lad Posted 14 June 2006 Posted 14 June 2006 What tactics do you think sven should apply? All the build up to the match, hopefully alot of goals.
Luke_Leicester_Lad Posted 14 June 2006 Author Posted 14 June 2006 Is Gary Neville injured or something?
Knighton Matt Posted 14 June 2006 Posted 14 June 2006 Forget tactics Sven should apply! What tactics will you be applying to watch this match? Work through lunch and leave at 4? Claim you've got a bit of a headache and you might have to take the afternoon off? Or some other outrageous excuse?!
SystonFox Posted 14 June 2006 Posted 14 June 2006 he is a doubt. and wheres peter crouch? owen aint fit i wouldnt risk him as lone striker. id play -------------------------------Robbo--------------- Carra ----- Rio Merckedinand------- J.T ------------- Tweedy Becks ----- Gerrard -------------- Lampard ------------ J.Cole ----------------Owen ----------------- Crouch -------------- Subs : Hargreaves on for Carra after 60 mins Theo on for Owen after 65 Rooney on for J.Cole after 80 mins depending on scoreline.
Ricey Posted 14 June 2006 Posted 14 June 2006 Is Gary Neville injured or something? Yep, will definatley be out for tomorrow.

Daggers Posted 14 June 2006 Posted 14 June 2006 What tactics do you think sven should apply? I think he should try win the game in an attractive fashion by lots of goals. Why? Do you think he's reading this? Oh golly!
City_4_Life Posted 14 June 2006 Posted 14 June 2006 -------------------------------Robbo--------------- Carra ----- Rio Merckedinand------- J.T ------------- Tweedy Becks ----- Gerrard -------------- Lampard ------------ J.Cole ----------------Owen ----------------- Crouch -------------- Thats what i would go for aswell.
MC Prussian Posted 15 June 2006 Posted 15 June 2006 Start scoring your own goals, not own goals. That'd make me very happy. But then again, we might see a surprise. Just like T&T did against Sweden.
Fez of Mahrez Posted 15 June 2006 Posted 15 June 2006 Got the afternoon off, hence less than three hours left at work today! Forza Inghilterra!!!!!!!!!!
Manwell Pablo Posted 15 June 2006 Posted 15 June 2006 Got the afternoon off, hence less than three hours left at work today! Forza Inghilterra!!!!!!!!!! My boss is evil ( and 25 mins late this morning and counting ) and would probabley try and stop me watching the game if she could. However I work 9-4 so she can't. Ha Ha boss. ( Lets hope no one wants any cheques clearing today and I wont have to go to the post office, that will = me cutting it fine
Ric Flair Posted 15 June 2006 Posted 15 June 2006 Got the afternoon off, hence less than three hours left at work today! Forza Inghilterra!!!!!!!!!! Same here bud, finish at 12 and won't be back in until monday! WHAT'S THAT COMING OVER THE HILL.............IS IT THE ROBOT.
Fez of Mahrez Posted 15 June 2006 Posted 15 June 2006 Same here bud, finish at 12 and won't be back in until monday! WHAT'S THAT COMING OVER THE HILL.............IS IT THE ROBOT. See Crouch has said he won't do the robot again unless/until we win the whole thing.
Monk Posted 15 June 2006 Posted 15 June 2006 I will be watching it in the office on the screens we have on the wall.... England 4-0 Joe Cole first goalscorer. Worth a flutter I think. And might hedge it on a more likely one... England HT England FT.... I think the tactics will be the same as the first half against Paraguay, I expect to see the ball on the ground more. Save the high balls for the free kicks, don't want to see crouch booked and Owen lost again. Hopefully it will be a bit cooler this time and we can up the pace a little.
Monk Posted 15 June 2006 Posted 15 June 2006 See Crouch has said he won't do the robot again unless/until we win the whole thing. Yeah.. but... imagine how awesome it would be if he scored the winning goal..... and did the Robot dance. Worth waiting for....
Master Fox Posted 15 June 2006 Posted 15 June 2006 Yeah.. but... imagine how awesome it would be if he scored the winning goal..... and did the Robot dance. Worth waiting for.... That would be absolutely rubbish! Can you imagine watching re-runs for the next 40 years of Peter Crouch doing the robot dance in the world cup final??

Anish Posted 15 June 2006 Posted 15 June 2006 No such luck i'm afarid mate. Weather girl said temps will be 31 degrees C at 18:00. Its going to be another hot one. There's the ready made excuse once again. Notice that the heat didn't make any difference to the Spanish yesterday, they still annihilated Ukraine. And a certain D. Beckham plays in the same climate as most of the Spanish team, so he has no excuses if they can perform like that.
