Watched The Hurt Locker again today. Truly deserved its Oscars.

Mission Impossible followed by Sherlock Holmes was a top notch afternoon. Both very watchable.

Got Jennifers Body, The Inbetweeners, The Hangover 2 amongst others for chrimbo. Still got Blue Valentine, Igby Goes Down and a load of others to watch too.

Bit late to the party on this one, but watched Rise of the Planet of the Apes last night... thought is was excellent.

Really wasn't expecting much but it was one of the best films I have seen in a long time.

I'm still baffled by the endless love that films given, I thought it was terrible.

Anyway speaking of terrible I'm pretty sure I watched the worst movie ever made, it is called 'Rubber' and its about a killer tyre (I kid you not), not sure how it made it onto my lovefilm rental list but it did.

The 2nd film was A new daughter - this was mildly entertaining.

Predictably fantastically acted. Not quite as heavy on the action as the trailers make out but a fantastic film and not too talky. Sat behind four especially retarded lads who were obviously not aware it was going to be in Shakespearean English, however.

That's a modern take on a Shakespeare then? Which one? They often work well (let's face it, the basic premises of modern stories are pretty much covered by the diversity of Shakespeare's work).

Can't beat Forbidden Planet though!
