Watched 'Up' again the other day. One of the best modern films if you arsk me. 9/10. Marvelous stuff.

It's one of those films that gets me every time just like The Champ (1979). Emotional.

I think it's overrated. Granted, it's a fantastic start and the marriage is brilliantly portrayed in 5 minutes or so, but after that I didn't think it was that good.

Much better and funnier Pixar stories out there.

Despicable Me, last night.

Cutesy and funny and a bit surreal but a good tale of good overcoming bad

Not sure if I've seen any other Pixar ones. Seen one with Will Ferrell doing a voice which was good but can't remember what it was.

I've not watched too many newer films so not got much to compare with but the Mrs puts them on and I watched the whole of Up, thought it was great. Some of the faces they pull make me laugh like that construction bloke, and I love the flippin dogs with voice boxes.

Django Unchained is rather good.

There's a particular scene in it which I swear is like half hour long which sort of drags the film out.

I'ma big Tarantino fan and I know this sort of thing is his signature but this was a bit much for me. There's keeping the audience in suspense and there's this.

8/10 though, great cast.

Just watched The Impossible. I am not embarrassed to say that it destroyed me.

I've heard that you need a few boxes of kleenex to make it through.
