Just come back from the cinema after seeing 20150404032032!Poltergeist_2015_poster.p

An okay film, but no way near half as good as the original. That was a lot more scarier and longer than this, my problem with this is it was more creepier than scary, when it comes to scares I would say the trailers pre the movie were scarier. Performances I found was much better in this than the original it seemed more natural. At times I felt this movie a little rushed as I mentioned I found 93 minutes pretty short for this, I'm pretty sure in the original the parents were in more denial about the events for like the first hour, in this version its within 15 minutes.

I'd suggest waiting till the film is released on dvd, I'm not sure the effects are that spectacular or the plot is improved. Give it a look in at some point, if u liked the original. I thought this was good and would have been better if had it been 15 minutes longer and maybe more reaction from people outside of the house.

The Monument Men- not bad, not brilliant. 6/10

Sums up the description, if it wasn't for the big names combined into this movie I think it would be forgotten very quickly. It's not boring a film but it's not a movie you'd watch over and over again.

Just watched The Babadook, pretty good actually. Freaked me out. 7/10 Reminds me of that old Judderman advert.

Poltergeist is not okay or a seven out of ten.

It's the worst thing I've seen in a long time, it's so bad I found it funnier more than upsetting that I'd paid cinema prices to see it.

Absolutely awful on every level.

Foxcatcher, yawnfest, turned it off after an hour and a half, checked the plot on Wikipedia and it sounds like the ending might have been quite dramatic but there's no way it would have been worth the wait. 4/10.

had a bit of a movie binge weekend it seems without realising!

night of the living dead (1990 remake): always wanted to see the original of the dead pentology. couldn't get hold of the original on netflix but this stood up on its own as a remake. made me want to watch dawn of the dead again

Clerks (1994): oh god how did i spent 25 years on the planet and not see this film?! hilarious! going to find clerks 2 tonight.

The Human Centipede 3 (full sequence) (2015): Not as ****ed up as the 2nd one. if you do watch it, watch it for the joke and lampoon on itself it really is. if you watch it for shock value and gore it wont do anything. much like the 2nd.

It Follows (2015): Probably one of the best horror films of the last 5 years. genuinely scary and atmospheric and makes you spend the film looking for people in the background like you do in Halloween.

Where did you locate this? I've been looking for it for a while, heard great things from a lot of different places.

My sister mentioned this film to me yesterday, said it was really scary. I've been through most countries Netflix catalogues and can't see it.

I watched Tracks and Chef today, both enjoyable. Tracks was a true story of a woman who wanted to cross 1,700 miles through the Australian desert and Chef was a story of a chef who had become stagnant in a restaurant and got a new zest for the business running a food truck through America with the help of social media. I'd give both 7/10

Paranormal Activity 5, knew it would be crap but watched it anyway. 4/10 I don't know why but I feel like I have to watch them just because I've seen the other ones.

Watched Big Game at the cinema last week. Terribly made, terribly acted but quite enjoyable. And to wade in on the Birdman debate - I thought it was terrible. Totally self indulgent, how it won all those awards is beyond me.
