Phlashman Posted 22 January 2007 Posted 22 January 2007 You've got to give some credit to Football rumours, no matter how many hundreds of thousands of millions of time they post utter bullshit, they keep going.
Master Fox Posted 22 January 2007 Posted 22 January 2007 ive said that newell would be a great manager at leicester like the points you said i totally agree, but i think we should still give RK longer at least untill the end of the season and take it from there What's the point him keeping him? He might as well go now. I wouldn't really want to give him a penny to spend
Geo V Posted 22 January 2007 Posted 22 January 2007 Mike Newell does seem to be a good manager as he dopes bring players on but the fact that erks me is that he has said no to us twice which is a big factor. It tells me if he does accept Leicester now its because he has just sold 3 more of his best players and Luton are doing shite and Leicester is a better proposition long term, with the proposed MM money. I would say no to him as he will only use us as a stepping stone and despite being a former player, he obviously doesnt like the club that much having turned us down twice already.
FrankieWorthoYaggedMyWife Posted 22 January 2007 Posted 22 January 2007 He's the TWAT who slagged off women Surely this is a reason to give him the managers job???? Women officals is like having a blind heart surgeon!
OriginalRobboFOX Posted 22 January 2007 Posted 22 January 2007 Mandaric says he has missed out on 3-4 players cos of the delay!! Wonder who they were?? Maybe Joey G??

fosseman Posted 22 January 2007 Posted 22 January 2007 We'll never know. Just as well. You might be thinking about how well those players are doing at other clubs. Anyway, as the old saying goes, "As one door closes, another one shuts."
davieG Posted 22 January 2007 Author Posted 22 January 2007 Just as well. You might be thinking about how well those players are doing at other clubs. Anyway, as the old saying goes, "As one door closes, another one shuts." Based on the Portsmouth blueprint - probably means that maybe one of them would have proved ok
Geo V Posted 22 January 2007 Posted 22 January 2007 Newcastle on the verge of bidding for WBA`s Curtis Davies which is decent news considering that rumours have been rife around the Geordies forum for a while that they wanted Kisnorbo. http://home.skysports.com/list.aspx?hlid=4...Davies+interest
LCFCIMPS Posted 22 January 2007 Posted 22 January 2007 Rumour is we maybe getting Michael Bridges from Hull on loan but rumour is 1 our player going other way. I just hope its not Frecklington or Hughes but time will tell. I know you, leeds and WBA have also watch him this season but hopefully he'll stay with us all season then if we go up he'll stay or he said he'll go if we don't go up from reports i'v heared.

Where do these guys play? Please don't tell me central defence?
Mark Posted 22 January 2007 Posted 22 January 2007 Where do these guys play? Please don't tell me central defence? Frecklington is an attacking midfielder as far as I'm aware, he looked a class act from what I saw of him on TV a few weeks back, at that level anyway.

Ric Flair Posted 22 January 2007 Posted 22 January 2007 Frecklington is an attacking midfielder as far as I'm aware, he looked a class act from what I saw of him on TV a few weeks back, at that level anyway. Reel him in. The last lad we got from Lincoln is turning out to be quality.
Geo V Posted 22 January 2007 Posted 22 January 2007 Another player that some people have stated would be useful was Pawel Abbot from Huddersfield but he just signed for Swansea http://home.skysports.com/list.aspx?hlid=4...p;channel=&
Fez of Mahrez Posted 22 January 2007 Posted 22 January 2007 I think... don't quote me on this but... I think... My rumour got vetoed from inclusion on Football Rumours?! They must have some sort of... quality control?!?!?!
Steven Posted 22 January 2007 Posted 22 January 2007 I think... don't quote me on this but... I think... My rumour got vetoed from inclusion on Football Rumours?! They must have some sort of... quality control?!?!?! lol Care to post it on here then?
Fez of Mahrez Posted 22 January 2007 Posted 22 January 2007 lol Care to post it on here then? Just some shite about us buying Ricardo Fuller for Manwell's (dis)pleasure.
Manwell Pablo Posted 22 January 2007 Posted 22 January 2007 Just some shite about us buying Ricardo Fuller for Manwell's (dis)pleasure. You see, Riccard Fuller is so shit not even FR will touch him.
Fez of Mahrez Posted 22 January 2007 Posted 22 January 2007 You see, Riccard Fuller is so shit not even FR will touch him. I'd start to doubt myself if they did.

We should try and get Frecklington ... He's a cracking player. I've seen Lincoln a few times this season, and the boy's a bit special. (In fact, coming again on Saturday!)

(In fact, coming again on Saturday!) As has been said there are plenty of clubs watching him, even herd talk of Premier League suitors, dunno if he'd handle the step up myself, only seen him a couple of times.

I think he would. I said we should sign Gareth Macauley on the performances I saw at Lincoln last year - I think Frecklington's as good. He's a solid midfielder who can score a few goals ... (what possible need could Leicester have for that?? )
dan_84 Posted 23 January 2007 Posted 23 January 2007 been out the city for a few weeks, since i got back at the weekend iv heard a few names being banned around: Freddie Eastwood Lee Trundle......again Matt Holland Danny Murphy Charlie Sherringham Ricardo Fuller I think Holland and Murphy could be excellent signings if true, as would Freddie Eastwood. Cant see that one happening though.
