Definitely going Glasto, my mate's coming home from Thailand just for it so gotta make an effort! Maybe Solar in Barcelona but it may to too close to Glasto so not sure. If anyone wants to try something different go to the Sziget festival in Budapest! It's awesome. http://www.sziget.hu/festival_english

Filbert_Ross Posted 26 January 2007 Share Posted 26 January 2007 my dads heard 'police' are playing at glasto. thats not my answer to the above question though. Fez of Mahrez Posted 26 January 2007 Share Posted 26 January 2007 my dads heard 'police' are playing at glasto. thats not my answer to the above question though. Im under the impression Kasabian, Artic Monkeys and Arcade Fire are definatly playing. Arctic Monkeys have said they're doing one big gig up north (the LCCC gig) and one big gig down south (possibly a festival) so they won't be doing V if they do Glasto. It's strange, they want to avoid doing arena tours too apparently so how they're going to "tour" any album in future, I have no idea.
Filbert_Ross Posted 26 January 2007 Share Posted 26 January 2007 in this weeks NME, interviewer says to Michael Eavis- 'weve got our fingers crossed for Arcade Fire and Artic monkeys somewhere on the bill......' the reply was..,.' well your lucky there then, I can tell you that.'
