our inability to win from good positions is becoming legendary. All on Mulder and Kimber now, plenty of time and not a particularly demanding run rate with one short boundary. Mind you we couldn't beat Staffordshire so Surrey is a tall order

Kimber and Mulder were brilliant.

 

7 is way too low for Kimber but shows that we've a strong batting lineup and seems to give the top order license to go out and go for it knowing we bat deep.

Great start to the campaign. Especially good to see Kimber come into bat when we were in a tricky situation and see us home so calmly. We'll be competitive in this but our lack of an experienced front line spinner might be costly on some wickets.

Fantastic chase in the end and frightening potential in our batting line-up considering we only got ourselves out today.

 

Should've gone further in this tournament last year so good to see us setting our stall out with a bloody nose to one of the big boys.
