Maximum bonus points and a fair chance of going 2 from 2.

At this rate we will get 300 on board and have a full session haba

You need to leave them needing over 4 an over. Enough to make them attack but 300 could easily be chased on this. Something like 380 lead with 4-5 overs tonight at them.

Think we will be intent on moving things on a bit quicker than that... less than 3 an over to get to that scenario (weather permitting)

Never mind moving things on quickly, we're now in a bit of trouble. Been an appalling afternoon session.

Plenty to come still. I'd imagine they will still be chasing 350+. Fair play to them if they do.

Yup no need to panic, 350 is a lot still.

The depth of our batting means we should be okay

Why are we not putting them in?

Christ if they hit 350+ that then surely you just say fair play

Weather for tomorrow isn’t great, the question is why they aren’t they at least trying to score quickly?!

It may be that the umpires told Derbys to bowls the spinners because of the light. If that is what happened and we declared we’d have to give the new ball to Ahmed and Kimber.

It could be just being cautious though. Declaring overnight they’d still need less than four an over, when every team’s gone at a fair bit quicker than that throughout the match.

Stop defending and try and stick another 30 on the scoreboard then, surely?
