RIP to Trish Springett wife of Lewis our number one fan of many years who sadly passed away today

I remember him, what a guy.

Currently 14-4 against Durham. Pesky outground wicket to blame?

The scheduling for this season is currently making it hard for me to get down for a game. No Derbyshire game at Chesterfield this season either. May go up to Leeds to see them against Yorkshire in the T20.

Went to the game today. Thought we controlled it really well throughout. Never looked in danger of blowing it.

We've looked promising in the 50 over game this season. Shame about the rain against Northants, we'd have been right in with a shout otherwise. Would like to see us beat Yorkshire and results go our way to qualify but think we'll fall just short.

Hopefully a sign of things to come though. Would love another crack at the T20

Appear to be in control against Yorkshire too which would put us into a qualification spot ?..... for the time being lol

An enjoyable day at Grace Road but this last wicket partnership could prove critical. At 9 down with virtually a 140-lead, we'd have been hoping to be comfortable in our second innings by the close but it's in the balance at the moment, that wicket is badly needed tomorrow morning.

McKay was exceptional, Chappell and Raine backed him up but Klein and Wells were expensive and I'm sure the spinner was on mainly to increase the very slow over-rate. Superb catch by Wells to dismiss Jordan.

Just hope we can get this game won because for 50-odd overs it was excellent stuff.

How we have managed to be on the brink of defeat after being in such a strong position is unbelievable, thrown this game away.

Exactly how I feel too.

Not the first time either...

Need a front line spinner in the side, not sure Wells is up to it in the 4 day game. Really poor to throw a game from that position.
